It debuted at number one in Scotland and the United Kingdom and spent a total of 43 weeks on the UK Albums Chart. It has been certified triple platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. It performed strongly in a number of continental European albums charts, reaching the top ten in France, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden.
