"Wigloose: The Rusical!" is the twelfth episode of the fifteenth season of the American television series RuPaul's Drag Race , which aired on MTV on March 17, 2023. The episode features a challenge in which the contestants perform in a Rusical (musical) of the same name, based on the American film Footloose (1984).
RuPaul revealed to the contestants that this week's main challenge will be performing a Rusical parody tribute to the film, Footloose . The musical, Wigloose, is located in a small fictional town that outlawed drag, set in the 1980s. Miguel Zarate assisted the contestants with the choreography. [1] [2]
At the judges' panel, Orville Peck served as guest judge, alongside regular panelists RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and Ross Mathews. The runway category was "Everybody Say Glove". Anetra was named the winner of the main challenge, while Loosey LaDuca and Salina EsTitties were placed in the bottom two. The bottom two had to lip sync to "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush. Salina EsTitties was eliminated from the competition. [3]
