The Northeastern United States, also referred to as simply the Northeast, is a geographical region of the United States bordered to the north by Canada, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Southern United States, and to the west by the Midwestern United States. The Northeast is one of the four regions defined by the United States Census Bureau for the collection and analysis of statistics.

Northeast Glacier is a steep, heavily crevassed glacier on the west side of Hemimont Plateau, 21 km (13 mi) long and 8 km (5 mi) wide at its mouth, which flows from McLeod Hill westward and then south-westwards into Marguerite Bay between the Debenham Islands and Roman Four Promontory, on the west coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. Northeast Glacier was first surveyed in 1936 by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) under John Riddoch Rymill. It was resurveyed in 1940 by members of the United States Antarctic Service (USAS), who first used the glacier as a sledging route, and so named by them because it lay on the north-eastern side of their base at Stonington Island.

The American colonies were formally known as British America and the British West Indies before the Thirteen Colonies declared their independence in the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783) and formed the United States of America. After that, the term British North America was used to describe the remainder of Britain's continental American possessions. That term was used informally in 1783 by the end of the American Revolution, but it was uncommon before the Report on the Affairs of British North America (1839), called the Durham Report.
Macomb Mountain is a mountain located in Essex County, New York. The mountain is named after Maj.Gen. Alexander Macomb (1782–1841), who won acclaim during the War of 1812 at the Battle of Plattsburgh, and served as Commanding General of the United States Army (1828–1841).
KZDC is a radio station broadcasting a sports format with programming from ESPN Radio. Licensed to San Antonio, Texas, United States, the station serves the San Antonio area. The station is currently licensed to Alpha Media Licensee, LLC. Its studios are located in Northeast San Antonio, and the day transmitter site is just off Highway 281 South outside I-410. The station also uses a separate nighttime site which is co-located with sister station KTSA along Eisenhauer Road in northeast San Antonio.
Sikorski Glacier is a small glacier in the northeast part of Noville Peninsula, Thurston Island. It flows northeast to Bellingshausen Sea between Mounts Palmer and Mount Feury. First roughly delineated from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Stephen Sikorski, electronics technician on USS Glacier, who assisted in setting up an automatic weather station on Thurston Island during the United States Navy Bellingshausen Sea Expedition in February 1960.
El-Sayed Glacier is a glacier about 15 nautical miles long which drains the northeast slopes of Zuncich Hill in Marie Byrd Land. It flows northeast to enter Land Glacier at the south side of Mount Shirley. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959–65, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Sayed Z. El-Sayed, a United States Antarctic Research Program oceanographer on the International Weddell Sea Oceanographic Expeditions, 1967–68 and 1969–70.
Astapenko Glacier is a glacier, 11 miles (18 km) long, draining the north and northeast slopes of Stanwix Peak in the Bowers Mountains and flowing east-northeast to Ob' Bay, situated in Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and from U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–62, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Pavel D. Astapenko, Soviet IGY observer, a Weather Central meteorologist at Little America V in 1958. The glacier lies on the Pennell Coast, a portion of Antarctica lying between Cape Williams and Cape Adare.

The March 1960 nor'easter was a severe winter storm that impacted the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions of the United States. The storm ranked as Category 4, or "crippling", on the Northeast Snowfall Impact Scale. Northeasterly flow, combined with the storm's slower forward motion, enhanced snowfall across the region. The cyclone began moving away from the United States on March 5. It took place during a stormy period in the affected region, contributing to record snowfall.
Cartwright Air Station is a closed General Surveillance Radar station. It is located 145.2 miles (233.7 km) east-northeast of CFB Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. It was closed in 1968.
