The 2002 IBF World Junior Championships was an international badminton tournament held in Pretoria, South Africa. China team won the overall titles after clinched the mixed team, boys' and girls' singles, and also the girls' and mixed doubles titles. The boys' doubles title goes to Korean pair. [2] [3]

Lee Hyo-jung is a South Korean former badminton player.
The Badminton Asia Championships is a tournament organized by governing body Badminton Asia to crown the best badminton players in Asia.
Liliyana Natsir is an Indonesian former badminton player who specialized in doubles. She is one of the standout front court player, with dexterousness and skill in controlling and executing the shuttlecock. Natsir has tremendous record over more than two decade by winning a gold and a silver from the Olympic Games, and four gold medals at the BWF World Championships. Her achievements are recognized worldwide, and was inducted in the BWF Hall of Fame in 2022.
Lee Yong-dae is a professional badminton player from South Korea who had been successful in both men's and mixed doubles. He reached world number 1 ranking with 4 different partners, Jung Jae-sung, Ko Sung-hyun and Yoo Yeon-seong in men's doubles, and Lee Hyo-jung in mixed doubles. He won a total of 43 Superseries titles, 37 in the men's doubles, the most of any doubles player in one discipline, and 6 in mixed doubles. He was ranked world number 1 in men's doubles for 117 consecutive weeks with his last partner, Yoo Yeon-seong.
Ha Jung-eun is a women's and mixed doubles badminton player from South Korea. Ha was competed at the 2006, 2010 Asian Games, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Together with the Korean national women's team, they won the Uber Cup in 2010. At the same year, she won the bronze medal at the World Championships in the mixed doubles event.
The 2014 Badminton Asia Junior Championships is an Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. It was held in Taipei, Taiwan from February 16 to February 23, 2014. This is the second time for this event has been held in Taipei after being hosted by the city in 2001. This year, over 250 top badminton players from more than 20 different countries participated in the competition.
Zheng Siwei is a Chinese badminton player specializing in doubles. Zheng is three times World Champion and Asian games gold medalists in the mixed doubles with his current partner Huang Yaqiong. He also helped the national team clinch the 2018 Thomas and 2019 Sudirman Cup.
Kim Astrup Sørensen is a Danish badminton player. As junior player, he won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles. He later won a gold in the mixed doubles and bronze medals in the boys' doubles and team events at the 2011 European Junior Championships. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Astrup emerged victorious in the men's doubles at the 2018 European Championships.
The 2016 Badminton Asia Junior Championships is the 19th edition of the Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. This tournament was held in Bangkok, Thailand, between 9 and 17 July 2016. The championships consists of mixed team and individual events. There were 19 countries with over 250 players participating in this edition.
Yoo Hyun-young is a badminton player from South Korea. Her first big result internationally came when, at the age of 16, she partnered Lee Yong-dae to win the mixed doubles title at the 2006 BWF World Junior Championships, as well as the mixed team title. She was a team-mate of both Bae Yeon-ju and Jung Kyung-eun at Masan's Sungji Girls' High School and in 2007, all three girls were runners-up at the 2007 BWF World Junior Championships.
Yuta Watanabe is a Japanese badminton player. He is a member of the Nihon Unisys team, and national team A representative. Known for his quick and explosive movements with signature drop shots on court, Watanabe has won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as being three-times BWF World Championships medalists.
The 2005 Asian Junior Badminton Championships is an Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. This tournament were held in Tennis Indoor Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, Jakarta, Indonesia from 11–17 July. In the team event, South Korean boys', and the Chinese girls' team won the gold medal respectively. In the individual event, China won three gold medal in the boys' singles, girls' singles and girls' doubles event, while South Korea won two gold medal in the boys' and mixed doubles.
The 2000 Asian Junior Badminton Championships were held in Nishiyama Park Gymnasium, Kyoto, Japan from 21–27 July and organized by the Kyoto Badminton Association. 21 countries competed at this competition, and in the end of the tournament, China clinched all the titles.
The 2017 Badminton Asia Junior Championships is the 20th edition of the Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. This tournament was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, between 22 and 30 July 2017. There were 23 countries across Asia competing in this tournament.
Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club. She won the gold medal in the mixed doubles at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships, and in the women's doubles at the 2021 SEA Games.
Kim Hye-jeong is a South Korean badminton player. She has shown her potential as a badminton player since she was young. Kim entered the regular training in the second grade of elementary school in Wanwol-dong, Masan, and was part of the school team that won the junior national championships in 2008. She won two times German Junior Open in 2014 and 2015 in the girls' doubles event, and clinched two titles at the 2015 Thailand Open in the girls' and mixed doubles event. Kim was part of the national junior team that won the mixed team silver medal at the 2014 and 2015 Asian Junior Championships, and in the individual event, she claim the mixed doubles bronze in 2014, and 2015 silver and bronze medals in the girls' and mixed doubles event respectively. At the 2016 World Junior Championships, she finished in the semifinals, and settled for the bronze medal. Kim joined the MG Saemaeul team in 2016, and selected to join the national team in 2018. She was born in the badminton family. Her mother Chung So-young, was the former 1992 Olympic gold medalist, and her father Kim Bum-shik, is a badminton coach.
Leo Rolly Carnando is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum club. He was a World Junior Champions in the mixed doubles in 2018 and in the boys' doubles in 2019, also won double gold at the 2019 Asian Junior Championships in the boys' and mixed doubles events. Carnando was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.
Wang Chan is a South Korean badminton player. As a junior player, Wang have won a silver in the boys' doubles and a bronze in the mixed doubles at the 2018 World Junior Championships. He also won bronze medals in the boys' doubles in the 2017 and 2018 Asian Junior Championships, and a silver in the mixed doubles in 2018. He also helps Korean junior team to clinched the mixed team title at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships.
