The 7.30 by-elections were held in South Korea on 30 July 2014. 15 seats to the National Assembly of South Korea were contested while re-election occurred for 1 seat to the Municipal Council of Suwon.

The ruling conservative Saenuri Party gained seats and retained their majority in the National Assembly. The liberal party NPAD conceded defeat. Later, the NPAD split into two political parties: the Democratic Party of Korea, led by Moon Jae-in, and the People's Party, led by Ahn Cheol-soo.

National Route 1 (South Korea)

National Route 1(Korean: 국도 제1호선; RR: Gukdo Je Il Hoseon) is a national highway in South Korea. It connects Mokpo, South Jeolla Province with the city of Paju in Gyeonggi-do. Before the division of the Korean peninsula, the highway ran until Sinuiju, North P'yongan Province, in present-day North Korea.

2012 South Korean presidential election

Presidential elections were held in South Korea on 19 December 2012. They were the sixth presidential elections since democratization and the establishment of the Sixth Republic, and were held under a first-past-the-post system, in which there was a single round of voting and the candidate receiving the highest number of votes was elected. Under the South Korean constitution, a president is restricted to a single five-year term in office. The term of the then incumbent president Lee Myung-bak ended on 24 February 2013. According to the Korea Times, 30.7 million people voted with turnout at 75.8%. Park Geun-hye of the Saenuri party was elected the first female South Korean president with 51.6% of the vote opposed to 48.0% for her opponent Moon Jae-in. Park's share of the vote was the highest won by any candidate since the beginning of free and fair direct elections in 1987.

Korea Polytechnics mean two or three-years public vocational school in South Korea. It has 11 colleges in 34 cities.

The 1995 municipal annexation in South Korea was an administrative event in which many cities and counties joined together into "urban-rural integrated" (도농복합시) cities as of 1 January 1995. Some of the annexation were done later as of 10 May 1995. Some of the counties were annexed to certain metropolitan cities(광역시) as of 1 March 2015.

The 2014 Korean FA Cup, known as the Hana Bank FA Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 19th edition of Korean FA Cup. It began on 22 March 2014. The cup winner were guaranteed a place in the 2015 AFC Champions League. Since 2014 edition, four amateur football clubs competed in the first round.

The 2017 Korean FA Cup, known as the KEB Hana Bank FA Cup due to sponsorship reasons, was the 22nd edition of Korean FA Cup. The 2018 South Korean by-elections was held in South Korea on 13 June 2018, coinciding with the local elections. 12 seats to the National Assembly of South Korea were contested.

The 2021 South Korean by-elections will be held in South Korea on 7 April 2021. The National Election Commission announced on 2 March 2021 that the by-elections will be held for 21 public offices or electoral districts, including 2 Metropolitan mayors, 2 Municipal mayors, 8 Metropolitan Council constituencies, and 9 Municipal Council constituencies. Candidate registration must be made from March 18 to March 19, and the list of candidates will be confirmed on March 26.
