Brazil competed in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada from July 10 to 26, 2015. The Brazilian Olympic Committee selected a team of 590 athletes, 314 men and 276 women. This is the 17th appearance of the country in the Pan American Games. The goal of the Brazilian Olympic Committee is to finish among top 3 countries on total medals, as part of preparations for the 2016 Summer Olympics, in Rio de Janeiro, and to surpass the number of medals of Guadalajara (141). Women's field hockey, baseball, racquetball and speed skating competitions will be the only sports without Brazilian representation at these games.

Hugo Lemos Arthuso is a Brazilian male badminton player. He competed at the Pan American Games in 2011 and 2015.

Ana Paula Galbiatti Campos is a Brazilian female badminton player. Teamed-up with Fabiana Silva, she won the women's doubles title in 2014 Puerto Rico and 2015 Colombia. She also won the mixed doubles title at the Suriname International tournament partnered with Jonathan Persson of Germany.

The XXI 2017 Pan Am Badminton Championships were held as two events in different counties. From 16 to 19 February, the team event was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. From 27 to 30 April, the individual event was held in Havana, Cuba.

Paula Beatriz Pereira is a Brazilian female badminton player. She competed at the 2007 and 2015 Pan American Games. At the Brazilian National Badminton Championships, she won the women's singles title in 2011; women's doubles title in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, and 2014; and in the mixed doubles title in 2012.

Sâmia Raquel Passos Lima is a Brazilian badminton player. As a junior player, she won the U-17 2016 Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships in the girls' and mixed doubles event. She won her first senior international title at the Brazil International Challenge tournament partnered with Jaqueline Lima. She was a bronze medalist in the women's doubles event at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games.

Jaqueline Maria Lopes Lima is a Brazilian badminton player from Joca Claudino Esportes badminton club. She joined the Brazil national badminton team in 2016, and in 2017 she competed in the mixed team event at the 2017 Pan Am Badminton Championships where the team won silver medal. She won her first senior international title at the 2017 Brazil International Challenge tournament partnered with Sâmia Lima. Lima participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and was part of the team Theta won the bronze medal in the mixed team event. At the 2019 Lima Pan American Games, she won two bronze medals in the women's and mixed doubles events.

Francisleide dos Santos Barbosa, known as Chú Santos or Chú, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Brazil women's national football team and Palmeiras in Brazil.

Fabrício Ruan Rocha Farias is a Brazilian badminton player from Joca Claudino Esportes badminton club. He won the bronze medals at the 2019 Pan American Games in the men's doubles with his brother, Francielton Farias, and also in the mixed doubles with Jaqueline Lima.
