The tournament featured eight teams, one fewer than in 2013 after the withdrawal of the Pune Warriors India, and was held from 16 April 2014 to 1 June 2014. The opening ceremony was held in the UAE on 15 April 2014. The Bangladesh Premier League 2013 season, also known as BPL Season 2 or Prime Bank BPL 2013, was the second season of the Bangladesh Premier League, established by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in 2012. The 2022 FairBreak Invitational T20 was a women's Twenty20 cricket competition which took place from 4 to 15 May 2022 in Dubai. The tournament, sanctioned by the ICC, was privately-run by FairBreak Global, a company that aims to promote gender equality. Players from 35 countries were spread across six teams. The tournament was won by Tornadoes, who beat Falcons in the final by 8 wickets.

The tournament was played from 28 November to 9 December 2023 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. Deccan Gladiators were the defending champions, having claiming their second title in the final of the previous edition.
The 2023 Zim Afro T10 was the inaugural season of the Zim Afro T10. The tournament was played from 21 to 29 July at the Harare Sports Club. In the final, Durban Qalandars defeated Joburg Buffaloes by eight wickets to win the inaugural title.
The 2024 Zim Afro T10 was the second season of the Zim Afro T10. The tournament was held from 21 to 29 September at the Harare Sports Club. Durban Wolves, formerly known as Durban Qalandars, were the defending champions.
