From September 14 to 16, 2022, Chinese President and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping attends the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states in Samarkand, [1] and pay state visits to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan at the invitation of the Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Ding Xuexiang, the Secretary of the Secretariat of the CCP Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CCP Central Committee, Yang Jiechi, Director of the Office of the CCP Central Foreign Affairs Commission, Wang Yi, State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs, He Lifeng, Vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and other officials arrived on the same flight. On September 14, Xi Jinping arrived in Nur-Sultan. The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev greeted him at the airport. [9] [10] [11]
President Tokaev held a welcoming ceremony for Xi Jinping in the hall of the Presidential Palace of Kazakhstan. Later, President Tokaev invited President Xi to visit the art exhibition "Kazakhstan-China: A Dialogue Across Millennium". [12] The two sides held official talks on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kazakhstan, and signed and issued the Joint Declaration on the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan, announcing that they will work for the goals and visions of China and Kazakhstan to build a community of destiny that is characterized by inter-generational friendship, a high degree of mutual trust and solidarity. [13] The relevant departments of the two countries signed a number of bilateral cooperation documents in the fields of economy and trade, connectivity, finance, water conservancy and news media. The two sides decided to open consulates general in Xi'an and Aktobe. [14]
On the afternoon of September 14, Xi Jinping received the Order of the Golden Eagle from President Tokayev of Kazakhstan at the Akorda Residence. [15] [16] After the luncheon, President Xi ended his state visit to Kazakhstan and left Nursultan for Samarkand. [17]
On the evening of September 14, Xi Jinping arrived in Samarkand and was greeted at the airport by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Government Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov, Samarkand Governor Erkinjon Turdimov and other senior officials. [18]
On September 15, Xi Jinping met with President Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan in Samarkand. [19] The two heads of State declared that, with a view to the long-term development of Uzbek relations and the future well-being of the peoples of the two countries, the two sides would expand mutually beneficial cooperation, consolidate their friendship and partnership. [20] After the talks, the two heads of state signed and issued the Joint Declaration of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Uzbekistan. [21] China and Uzbekistan signed a number of cooperation documents in agriculture, digital economy, green development, culture, localities, media and other fields. [22] During the visit, China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Construction Project (Kyrgyzstan Section). [23] President Xi was awarded the Order of Friendship by President Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan at the Samarkand International Conference Center. [24]

She previously served as the spokesperson within the ministry, and as Chinese ambassador to Albania (2015-2018) and Romania (2019-2012).
China–Kazakhstan relations refer to the relations between historical China and the Kazakhs up to the modern relations between the PRC and Kazakhstan. Ever since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, political, cultural, and economic ties have developed between the two. The Chinese Communist Party and Kazakhstan's Amanat have good ties. China has said that it values exchanges between the two parties and hopes to strengthen ties and cooperation even further.

On 20–22 March 2023, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese president, visited Russia, in his first international meeting since his re-election as president during the 2023 National People's Congress.
The 2023 France–China summit was a three-day state visit by Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, to China from April 5 to 7, 2023. It was Macron's first visit to China since the COVID-19 pandemic and his third since taking office in 2017. He was accompanied by a delegation of more than 50 CEOs and met with members of the French business community in China. He also met with Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party and President of China, and Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, to discuss various issues. By recalling the solid foundation of China-France relations and the friendship between the two peoples, the two heads of state had an in-depth exchange of views on bilateral relations, China-EU relations and major international and regional issues, especially the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine and China's potential role as a mediator between Russia and the West. The visit was seen as an attempt to "reconnect" with China after three years of its zero-Covid policy and despite Beijing's increasing benevolence to Russia in the context of the Russo-Ukrainian war.
The 2024 BRICS summit was the sixteenth annual BRICS summit, held in Kazan, Russia. It was the first BRICS summit to include Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates as members, following their accession to the organization at the 15th BRICS summit.
From May 5–10, 2024, Chinese President and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping made state visits to France, Serbia, and Hungary.
From May 28 to May 31, 2024, the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) visited South Korea and China for the first time as UAE Head of State.
At the invitation of President Johannes Rau of the Federal Republic of Germany, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, Leader of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, President Olusegun Obasanjo of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Ben Ali of the Republic of Tunisia, President Seyed Mohammad Khatami of the Islamic Republic of Iran, President Jiang Zemin paid a state visit to these five countries from April 8 to 22, 2002. During the visit, China signed several cooperation agreements with the three countries, encompassing diverse sectors such as trade and economy, culture, agriculture, science and technology, education, oil and gas, telecommunications, and transportation.
President of Peru Dina Boluarte pays a state visit to China to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping during June 25, 2024 to June 29, 2024. The visit resulted in the signing of a number of China-Peru cooperation agreements, and the two sides expect China to bring more new technologies into Peru and make the cooperation between China and Peru a model of China-Latin America cooperation.
From July 2 to 6, 2024, Chinese President and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping will attend the 2024 SCO summit in Astana and pay state visits to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the invitation of Premier of China Li Qiang, Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister of Bangladesh, paid an official visit to China from July 8 to 10, 2024.
At the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the United Republic of Tanzania Jakaya Kikwete, President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma and President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, the President of China and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping left Beijing on the morning of March 22 to pay a state visit to these four countries and attend the 5th BRICS summit held in Durban, South Africa. The trip is also Xi's first foreign state visit since he became the Paramount leader of China in November 2012.
At the invitation of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyễn Phú Trọng and President of Vietnam Võ Văn Thưởng, Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party and President of China, paid a state visit to Vietnam during December 12-13, 2023. The two sides agreed to issue the Joint Declaration on Further Deepening and Upgrading the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Building a Strategic Community of Destiny between China and Vietnam.
At the invitation of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Trần Đại Quang, President of China and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping went to Da Nang, Vietnam, from November 10–11, 2017, to attend the APEC Vietnam 2017. Then, General Secretary Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Vietnam and the Laos from November 12–14, 2017. This is the first state visit by the top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party and State after the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
President of China and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping visited Lima, Peru, at the request of President of Peru Dina Boluarte, to participate in the 31st Informal Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders' Meeting and conduct a state visit from November 13 to 17, 2024. At the behest of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of the Federative Republic of Brazil, President Xi also paid a visit to Rio de Janeiro from November 17 to 21 to participate in the 2024 G20 Rio de Janeiro summit and conduct a state visit to Brazil.
