Awards and decorations of Uzbekistan are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on State Awards. The highest award is the title of Hero of Uzbekistan. There are also orders, medals, and honorary titles of Uzbekistan.

Honorary titles are introduced for various categories of professions and occupations. The honorary titles are accompanied by the corresponding diploma and badges.

Certificate of Honor

The Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Uzbekistan is awarded to citizens of Uzbekistan and foreign citizens, as well as enterprises, institutions, organizations, public associations, creative teams and military units and administrative-territorial units of Uzbekistan for labor and military merits, fruitful state, social and creative activities. The Legislative Chamber is the lower chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It has 150 members, 135 elected for a five-year term in single-seat constituencies using the two-round system and previously until the new president came to power, 15 seats were taken by the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan. Today, the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan is a full participant, and participates in parliamentary elections as an "Ecological party of Uzbekistan". Elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber are universal. Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have reached the age of eighteen by the election day have the right to vote. The citizens who have reached the age of twenty-five by the date of election and have been residing in the Republic of Uzbekistan for at least five years have the right to be elected to the Legislative Chamber. Citizens who are recognized to be incapacitated by the court, as well as persons held in places of detention by a court sentence, cannot be elected and participate in elections.

Munojot Yoʻlchiyeva, also known under the Russian form of her name, Munadjat Yulchieva, is the leading performer of classical Uzbek music and its Persian-language cousin Shashmaqâm. She is famous for the unique quality of her voice and her natural charisma. She is recognized as People's artist of Uzbekistan (1994). She is honored as the Heroine of Uzbekistan (2021).

The office of Vice President of Uzbekistan was a political position in Uzbekistan until it was abolished on January 8, 1992. It was the title of the deputy to the President of Uzbekistan. Shukrullo Mirsaidov was the first and only holder of the office from 24 March 1990 to 8 January 1992.

The parade of sovereignties was a series of declarations of sovereignty of various degrees by the republics of the Soviet Union and autonomous units within the republics from 1988 to 1991. The declarations stated the priority of the constituent republic power in its territory over the central power, which led to the War of Laws between the centre and the republics. The process followed the loosened power grip of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union as a result of demokratizatsiya and perestroika policies under Mikhail Gorbachev. Despite the efforts of Gorbachev to preserve the union under a new treaty in the form of the Union of Sovereign States, many constituents soon declared their full independence. The process resulted in the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

The Order of Outstanding Merit is an order that is currently awarded by the Republic of Uzbekistan.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Pavel Ergashev</span> Uzbek general

Major General Pavel Ismailovich Ergashev is an Uzbek military leader who is a Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan. He was appointed to this position on 11 January 2018 and was dismissed in March 2021. He is the son of former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Ismail Ergashev. He was among 12 high-ranking officials were banned from entering the European Union for a year in November 2005 for their role in putting down the 2005 Andijan unrest. At the time, he was a Colonel who commanded of a detachment of from the Ministry of Defense. On 4 September 2017, he was appointed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the post of Acting Deputy Minister of Defense and commander of the troops of the Southwestern Special Military District.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Order of Uatsamonga</span> Award

The Order of Uatsamonga is a state award of South Ossetia. It was established in 2007. As of February 2015, it has no legislative support. In 2010, the Union of Knights of the Order was formed. The order is named after the mythological artifact Uatsamonga, mentioned in the Ossetian Nart epic.

The Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan is a specialized educational institution in the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan, under the Education System of the Ministry of Defense in Tashkent. It trains officers of medical services and medical officers of the reserve. The cadets who graduated from the bachelor's degree at the academy are initially awarded the military rank of "lieutenant of medical service" and are issued a diploma in the specialty "military doctor".

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shon-Sharaf Order</span>

The Shon-Sharaf Order or the Order of Glory of Service is a state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was introduced in August 1995. It comes in two classes. The ribbon comes in blue, red, white and green.
