The BYD G6 is a mid-sized four-door saloon produced by the Chinese manufacturer BYD launched in September 2011. [1]

G6

The G6 is available with a choice of two four-cylinder petrol engines: a BYD designed all-aluminum-alloy 1.5 L (1497 cc) turbo (called TID) producing 113 kW (154 PS; 152 bhp) and 240 N⋅m (177 lb⋅ft) mated with a 6-speed dual clutch automatic [2] or a Mitsubishi 483QB 2.0L (1991 cc) producing 103 kW (140 PS; 138 bhp) and 186 N⋅m (137 lb⋅ft) with a 5-speed manual.

Sirui

Just like the Surui trim of BYD F3, Sirui is a more premium version of the G6, with different styling and configurations.

Subaru Rex

The Subaru Rex, also known as Ace, Viki, Sherpa, 500/600/700, Mini Jumbo or M60/M70/M80 in various export markets, is a kei class automobile produced from 1972 to 1992 mainly for sale in Japan by Subaru, although it was also sold in Europe, South America, Australia and the Caribbean. The Rex superseded the R-2 as Subaru's kei car, and has been available in commercial use versions as well as in a passenger car version. It underwent major changes in 1976, in fall 1981, and again in late 1986. The second generation Rex (1981–1986) also formed the basis for the larger Subaru Justy.

Mazda3

The Mazda 3 is a compact car manufactured in Japan by Mazda. It was introduced in 2003 as a 2004 model, replacing the Familia/323/Protegé in the C-segment. A performance-oriented version of the Mazda3 was marketed as the Mazdaspeed3 in North America, Axela in Japan, and the Mazda 3 MPS in Europe.

Mitsubishi Sirius engine

The Mitsubishi Sirius or 4G6/4D6 engine is the name of one of Mitsubishi Motors' four series of inline-four automobile engines, along with Astron, Orion, and Saturn.

Mitsubishi Orion engine

The Mitsubishi Orion or 4G1 engine is a series of inline-four internal combustion engines introduced by Mitsubishi Motors in around 1977, along with the Astron, Sirius, and Saturn. It was first introduced in the Colt and Colt-derived models in 1978. Displacement ranges from 1.2 to 1.6 L.

Mitsubishi 4G9 engine

The Mitsubishi 4G9 engine is a series of straight-4 automobile engines produced by Mitsubishi Motors. All are 16-valve, and use both single- and double- overhead camshaft heads. Some feature MIVEC variable valve timing, and it was the first modern gasoline direct injection engine upon its introduction in August 1996.

Prince G engine

The Prince G-series engine was the company's only straight-four and straight-six engines which began production in 1955. A number of variations were made, with both OHV and OHC heads. A diesel four-cylinder with 1.9 L (1,862 cc) was also built, called the D-6. The G series was used in the Skyline, the Laurel, and the Gloria from the 1950s to the early 1970s.

Toyota KR engine

The Toyota KR engine family is a straight-3 piston engine series, designed by Daihatsu, which is a subsidiary of Toyota. The 1KR series uses aluminium engine blocks and chain driven DOHC cylinder heads. It uses multi-point fuel injection, and has 4 valves per cylinder with VVT-i whilst some of the series do not have it. The engine is also exceptionally light with a 69 kg (152 lb) weight with all ancillaries. This is due to the nature of the applications and weight of city cars.

Honda R engine

The Honda R engine is an inline-four engine launched in 2006 for the Honda Civic (non-Si). It is fuel injected, has an aluminum-alloy cylinder block and cylinder head, is a SOHC 16-valve design and utilizes Honda's i-VTEC system. The R series engine has a compression ratio of 10.5:1, features a "drive by wire" throttle system which is computer controlled to reduce pumping losses and create a smooth torque curve.
