The Beacon World Tour was a world tour by Northern Ireland indie rock band Two Door Cinema Club. [1]

Background

The tour was announced in April 2012 with a date in Paris announced followed by a German tour all of which will take place in November of that year. A show in New York was announced in June, [2] followed by more shows in France. A twenty-one date North American tour was announced for September 2012 and would begin in New York City and end in Santa Ana on October 28. [3] A short intimate tour of the UK and Ireland was announced to showcase the band's new album with the shows taking place in Birmingham, Manchester, London and Dublin in early September thus kicking off the Beacon World Tour. [4] Three festival shows were also announced for Australia, which took place at the end of December and early January 2013. [5] A full UK tour took place in January and February 2013 with dates across the whole of the United Kingdom, [6] the band would also perform their biggest Irish headline show ever in January when they will perform at Dublin's O2. [7] This was set to be Two Door Cinema Club's biggest tour to date. They also performed their biggest show to date[ citation needed ] at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall in March 2013.

The Helplessness Blues Tour was a world tour by Seattle folk band Fleet Foxes in support of their second album Helplessness Blues which was released on May 3, 2011. The tour visited North America, Europe, Oceania and Japan.

The Ceremonials Tour was the second concert tour by the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine. The tour included performances at music festivals because it is lead singer Florence Welch's favourite way to perform live. Welch had originally planned to spend over a year touring for Ceremonials before announcing that the December 2012 dates would be the final performances of the tour. On 25 February 2013, it was announced that Florence and the Machine would be playing at the Coke Live Music Festival in Poland on 10 August 2013, and, on 26 March 2013, it was announced that the band would be playing at Chime for Change's "The Sound of Change Live" concert at Twickenham Stadium in London alongside Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding and Haim, amongst others.

The Magna Carter World Tour was a concert tour by American rapper Jay-Z. It was promoted by his twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail (2013). Following his headlining performance at the 2013 Wireless Festival, Jay Z and promoters Live Nation announced a European and North American headlining tour. The Final Tour was a concert tour by heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. At the time, it had been announced as the band's final tour before their initial hiatus from 2016 until their announced comeback reunion in 2019. Alice Cooper was announced as the opening act for the tour. The first leg of the tour began on July 2, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and concluded on November 22, 2014 in Spokane, Washington. The band further announced more dates for the second and final leg of the tour, which started February 11, 2015 in Kobe, Japan, and ended with three concerts at Staples Center in the band's hometown of Los Angeles on December 28, 30 and 31, 2015. The Tour was kicked off by a drum solo by Producer Joe of the FreeBeer & Hotwings show.

On with the Show was a world tour by the rock group Fleetwood Mac. The tour began in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 30, 2014, and concluded in Auckland, New Zealand on November 22, 2015. Tickets were available for pre-sale between March 31 to April 6, before going on sale to the general public on April 7, 2014. At the end of 2014, the tour placed 13th on Pollstar's "Top 100 Worldwide Tours", earning $74.1 million from 40 shows in North America.
