The Beacon World Tour was a world tour by Northern Ireland indie rock band Two Door Cinema Club. [1]
The tour was announced in April 2012 with a date in Paris announced followed by a German tour all of which will take place in November of that year. A show in New York was announced in June, [2] followed by more shows in France. A twenty-one date North American tour was announced for September 2012 and would begin in New York City and end in Santa Ana on October 28. [3] A short intimate tour of the UK and Ireland was announced to showcase the band's new album with the shows taking place in Birmingham, Manchester, London and Dublin in early September thus kicking off the Beacon World Tour. [4] Three festival shows were also announced for Australia, which took place at the end of December and early January 2013. [5] A full UK tour took place in January and February 2013 with dates across the whole of the United Kingdom, [6] the band would also perform their biggest Irish headline show ever in January when they will perform at Dublin's O2. [7] This was set to be Two Door Cinema Club's biggest tour to date. They also performed their biggest show to date[ citation needed ] at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall in March 2013.

The Science & Faith Tour was a world tour by Irish alternative rock band The Script. The tour supported their second album Science & Faith which was released on 13 September 2010.
The NKOTBSB Tour was a co-headlining concert tour between American boy bands New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys, who together formed NKOTBSB. The tour visited North America in 2011. Europe, Australia and Asia were added to the itinerary for 2012. The tour ranked 44th in Pollstar's "Top 50 Worldwide Tour (Mid-Year)", earning over 10 million dollars. At the conclusion of 2011, the tour placed 8th on Billboard's annual "Top 25 Tours", earning over $76 million with 51 shows.
The Loud Tour was the fourth overall and third world concert tour by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna. Performing in over twenty countries in the Americas and Europe, the tour was launched in support of Rihanna's fifth studio album Loud (2010). Critics acclaimed the show for its liveliness and higher caliber of quality when compared to Rihanna's previous tours. The Loud Tour was a large commercial success, experiencing demand for an extension of shows in the United Kingdom due to popularity. In London, Rihanna played a record-breaking 10 dates at The O2 Arena. The tour ultimately grossed an estimated value of US$90 million from 98 reported shows and a total audience of 1,200,800. The Loud Tour became the seventh-highest-grossing tour of 2011.
The Come Around Sundown World Tour was the second concert tour by American rock band Kings of Leon. Visiting the Americas, Europe, Africa and Australia, the tour supported the band's fifth studio album, Come Around Sundown (2010). The tour has been praised by both critics and spectators alike, with many dates selling out within minutes. The concerts held in North America grossed over 14 million dollars, becoming the 49th highest-grossing North American tour. The tour ranked 40th in Pollstar's "Top 50 Worldwide Tour (Mid-Year)", earning roughly 20 million dollars in 2011.
Adele Live was the second concert tour by English singer-songwriter Adele. She visited Europe and North America, the tour supporting her second studio album, 21. Adele was backed by a five-piece band and backing singers. The setlist comprised all of her songs from 21, except for "He Won't Go", as well as selected songs from 19. The shows garnered positive critical reviews, many of which emphasised the show's understated, “unplugged” nature, as well as the singer's vocal performance and accessible persona.
Sade Live was the sixth concert tour by British band Sade. At the conclusion of 2011, the tour placed tenth on Billboard's annual, "Top 25 Tours", earning over $50 million with 59 shows.
The Helplessness Blues Tour was a world tour by Seattle folk band Fleet Foxes in support of their second album Helplessness Blues which was released on May 3, 2011. The tour visited North America, Europe, Oceania and Japan.
The Ceremonials Tour was the second concert tour by the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine. The tour included performances at music festivals because it is lead singer Florence Welch's favourite way to perform live. Welch had originally planned to spend over a year touring for Ceremonials before announcing that the December 2012 dates would be the final performances of the tour. On 25 February 2013, it was announced that Florence and the Machine would be playing at the Coke Live Music Festival in Poland on 10 August 2013, and, on 26 March 2013, it was announced that the band would be playing at Chime for Change's "The Sound of Change Live" concert at Twickenham Stadium in London alongside Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding and Haim, amongst others.
The El Camino Tour was a worldwide concert tour by American rock duo the Black Keys in support of their 2011 studio album, El Camino. The tour, which spanned 129 shows, began on January 23, 2012, and ended on July 13, 2013. It was the group's first tour playing arenas as a headlining act. The tour grossed $12.7 million in 2012.
#3 World Tour is the second concert tour by Irish alternative rock band the Script. Launched in support of their third studio album #3 (2012), the tour began in Ireland with two intimate shows in Cork and Dublin.
The Lonely Hearts Club Tour was the second concert tour by Welsh singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis, formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds.
The Moonshine Jungle Tour was the third concert tour by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. The tour supported his second studio album, Unorthodox Jukebox (2012), from June 2013 to October 2014. After an official announcement on February 10, 2013, which coincided with Mars's performance at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, a promotional trailer and behind-the-scenes footage of the tour were released through Mars's official YouTube channel and website. Mars and his team selected Ellie Goulding and Fitz and the Tantrums as the opening acts for the first North American leg, while music video director Cameron Duddy was signed as creative director for the tour in North America. In Europe and Oceania, Mayer Hawthorne and Miguel, respectively, were selected to open the shows.
The Magna Carter World Tour was a concert tour by American rapper Jay-Z. It was promoted by his twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail (2013). Following his headlining performance at the 2013 Wireless Festival, Jay Z and promoters Live Nation announced a European and North American headlining tour. The venture was Jay Z's first solo headlining tour in almost four years, following 2009's Fall Tour. According to Pollstar, The tour earned total $48.9m from 52 shows.
To Be Loved Tour was the fifth concert tour by Canadian singer Michael Bublé. Launched in support of his eighth studio album, To Be Loved (2013), the tour began on June 30, 2013, with a series of ten concerts at The O2 Arena in London and ended on March 22, 2015 in Johannesburg.
The PrismaticWorld Tour was the third concert tour by American singer Katy Perry, in support of her fourth studio album, Prism (2013). The tour began on May 7, 2014, at Belfast, Northern Ireland's Odyssey Arena and ended on October 18, 2015, at Alajuela, Costa Rica's Parque Viva after six legs. The Prismatic World Tour grossed more than $204.3 million from 149 shows, with a total tour attendance of 1,984,503 between 2014 and 2015; the tour is Perry's most successful, to-date.
The Final Tour was a concert tour by heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. At the time, it had been announced as the band's final tour before their initial hiatus from 2016 until their announced comeback reunion in 2019. Alice Cooper was announced as the opening act for the tour. The first leg of the tour began on July 2, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and concluded on November 22, 2014 in Spokane, Washington. The band further announced more dates for the second and final leg of the tour, which started February 11, 2015 in Kobe, Japan, and ended with three concerts at Staples Center in the band's hometown of Los Angeles on December 28, 30 and 31, 2015. The Tour was kicked off by a drum solo by Producer Joe of the FreeBeer & Hotwings show.
On with the Show was a world tour by the rock group Fleetwood Mac. The tour began in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 30, 2014, and concluded in Auckland, New Zealand on November 22, 2015. Tickets were available for pre-sale between March 31 to April 6, before going on sale to the general public on April 7, 2014. At the end of 2014, the tour placed 13th on Pollstar's "Top 100 Worldwide Tours", earning $74.1 million from 40 shows in North America. In 2015's year-end report, the tour placed 6th with a gross of $125.1 million from 78 shows, bringing the total gross so far to $199.2 million.
The Drones World Tour was a worldwide concert tour by the English rock band Muse. Staged in support of the band's 2015 album Drones, the tour visited arenas and festivals throughout 2015 and is the tenth concert tour the band has carried out. It began on 23 May 2015 in Norwich, England at the BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend. The Drones World Tour sold over 1.2 million tickets and grossed $23M from 34 shows in 2015, plus $65.5M from 64 shows in 2016.
The ÷ Tour was the third world concert tour by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, in support of his third studio album, ÷ (2017). Comprising 260 shows, it officially began on 16 March 2017, in Turin, Italy and ended on 26 August 2019, in Ipswich, England. Ticket sales started on 2 February 2017. The tour set world records for the highest-grossing concert tour and the most tickets sold by a tour.
