English musician Birdy has released five studio albums, four extended plays, fifteen singles and six music videos in MP3 format. She began her career at the age of 12 when she won the Open Mic UK music competition, singing "So Be Free", a song she composed herself. [1] [2] The competition brought Birdy to the attention of 14th Floor Records, which signed her in 2008. [3]
Birdy released her self-titled debut studio album in November 2011, which consists of cover versions and two original songs. [4] The album reached number one on the Australian, Belgian and Dutch album charts. [5] [6] [7] It was certified triple platinum by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP), platinum by the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA) and gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). [8] [9] [10] Four singles were released from the album: "Skinny Love", "Shelter", "People Help the People" and "1901", with "Skinny Love" peaking at number one in the Netherlands and number two in Australia. Birdy's second studio Fire Within was released in September 2013. It peaked at number five in Australia and number eight in the UK. [5] [11] Four singles, "Wings", "No Angel", "Light Me Up" and "Words As Weapons" were released from the album. In March 2016 she released Beautiful Lies , her third album, and reached the top five in Hungary, Ireland, and the UK. It was preceded by the singles "Keeping Your Head Up" and "Wild Horses", taken from the album. Her fourth studio album, Young Heart , was released in April 2021.

They are a San Francisco-based metal band formed in 1981 by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich (drums). After several bassist and lead guitarist changes, the band settled on Cliff Burton and Kirk Hammett, respectively. Metallica started playing locally, releasing their first widely circulated demo, No Life 'til Leather, in 1982. The demo caught the attention of Johny Zazula, who signed Metallica to Megaforce Records. The band released Kill 'Em All in 1983, and the following year they released Ride the Lightning. After Ride the Lightning was released, Metallica left Megaforce and signed to Elektra Records. In March 1986, the band released its third studio album, Master of Puppets, which was Metallica's first album to be certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). While promoting the album, Burton was killed in a bus accident. Jason Newsted was hired as a replacement. The band's first release to feature Newsted was The $5.98 E.P. – Garage Days Re-Revisited, and then followed by ...And Justice for All in August 1988, which peaked at number six on the Billboard 200.
"People Help the People" is the second single taken from Cherry Ghost's début album, Thirst for Romance. It was made available to download on 11 June 2007, and followed two weeks later on CD and 7-inch vinyl. The band played the song live on Later... with Jools Holland on 24 November 2006. Jimi Goodwin of the band Doves plays drums on the single. "People Help the People" peaked the UK Singles Chart at number 27. The song was also a hit in Italy.

In November 2016, she released a single named "How Far I'll Go" for Disney animated film Moana. In 2017, Cara collaborated with producer Zedd to create the single "Stay", which reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. She also collaborated with rapper Logic to feature in his single "1-800-273-8255", which reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The lead single from Cara's second studio album, The Pains of Growing, called "Growing Pains" was released on June 15, 2018, and charted at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Trust My Lonely" and "Out of Love" were released as the second and third singles from the album respectively. The Pains of Growing was released on November 30, 2018, followed by an extended play in 2019, This Summer, which spawned two singles: "Ready" and "Rooting For You", the latter reaching number 47 in Cara's native Canada. Her third studio album, In the Meantime, was released on September 24, 2021. The lead single, "Sweet Dream", peaked at number 51 in Canada. Cara is currently working on a fourth studio album.
