The song was released as the album's second single along with an official video on July 2, 2019, omitting 6ix9ine and his verse. In the German-language states, "Swervin" was re-released with German rapper Veysel on July 26, 2019.

TattleTales is the second studio album by American rapper 6ix9ine. It was released on September 4, 2020. TattleTales is the follow-up to Dummy Boy, which was released shortly after 6ix9ine was arrested in November 2018. It features guest appearances from Akon, Nicki Minaj, Smilez, Leftside and DJ Akademiks.

Darien Hinton, known professionally as Mooski, is an American rapper and singer. Signed to Capitol Records, he is best known for his 2021 viral single "Track Star", which peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also gained popularity on TikTok. He released a remix of "Track Star" on May 18, 2021. Hinton later released his debut studio album, Melodic Therapy 4 the Broken, on March 11, 2022.
