Dune Acres is a town in Westchester Township, Porter County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 182 at the 2010 census. Dune Acres is located in the duneland of the south shore of Lake Michigan. Many residents of Dune Acres and surrounding communities helped preserve parts of the Indiana Dunes.

The Athenæum, originally named Das Deutsche Haus, is the most ornate and best-preserved building affiliated with the German American community of Indianapolis. Once used as a German American Turnverein and clubhouse, it currently houses many groups, organizations, and businesses. The Athenæum is located across Massachusetts Avenue from the Old National Centre. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 21, 1973. On October 31, 2016, it was named the 41st National Historic Landmark in Indiana.

The main entrance features flanking Ionic order columns, round arch transom, and projecting piers. The building houses the local chamber of commerce.
Vincennes Fortnightly Club is a historic Women's club clubhouse located at Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana. It was built in 1928, and is a two-story, Colonial Revival style brick and Indiana limestone building. The tripartite front facade features arched openings and a decorative metal railed balcony on the second floor. The dumbbell shaped building consists of a main entrance block, auditorium, and rear stage section.
Read Dunes House is a historic home in Westchester Township, Porter County, Indiana. It was built in 1952, and is a one-story, Prairie School style dwelling. It measures 58 feet by 29 feet, and has a low-sloped gable roof. The house was built for Philo Benham Read (1882–1961) and his wife Irene Martin Read (1902–1981), who were active in dunes preservation. It was designed by their architect son Herbert P. Read.
Solomon Enclave is three historic homes located at Beverly Shores, Porter County, Indiana. The three two-story, International Style flat-roofed dwellings were built in 1948. They are rectangular in plan and are built into the sides of dunes. The houses features cantilevered concrete decks that overlook Lake Michigan.
Good Fellow Club Youth Camp is a historic summer camp and a national historic district located at Porter, Porter County, Indiana. The district encompasses nine contributing buildings, seven contributing structures, and one contributing site built by U.S. Steel for its employees' children. The contributing resources include the camp site with roadways and foundations of removed buildings, administration building, gate house and flagstone wall (1946), caretaker's house and garage (1941), pool house (1946), steel footbridge, steel swimming pool (1946), riflery, and tennis courts (1946). The buildings reflect the Adirondack rustic and American Craftsman architectural styles. The camp remained in operation until 1976, and is now part of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.

The Indianapolis Athletic Club was a private social "city club", located at 350 North Meridian Street in Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The historic clubhouse was designed by Robert Frost Daggett and built between 1922 and 1924. It is an Italian Renaissance style brick building. The club closed in 2004 and the building was converted to luxury condominiums.
Hillcrest Country Club, also known as Avalon Country Club, is a historic country club located in suburban Lawrence Township, Marion County, Indiana, northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana. The 18 hole golf course was designed by Bill Diddel and was built in 1924. The clubhouse was built in 1929–1930, and renovated in 2000. It is a three-story, Mission Revival style with tall arched openings, and a low tile roof with bracketed eaves. Also on the property are the contributing swimming pool (1934), well house, and water pump.
Independent Turnverein, also known as the Hoosier Athletic Club and Marott Building, is a historic clubhouse located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1913–1914, and consists of a main three-story brick pavilion connected by a two-story section to a second three-story brick pavilion. It has Prairie School and American Craftsman design elements, including a red tile hipped roof. It features paneled and decorated pilasters, a second floor Palladian window, and limestone decorative elements. The building was remodeled in 1946.
Woodstock Country Club is a historic country club and national historic district located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was developed between 1923 and 1956 and includes the 1923 Colonial Revival clubhouse expanded in 1957 and 1988. It consists of a central block with flanking wings and a three-arch porte cochere. Also on the property are the contributing main swimming pool and upper and lower tennis courts. The golf course was originally designed in 1899 and reconstructed in 1927-1928 by Bill Diddel.
