The Johor Bahru District is a district located in the southern part of Johor, Malaysia. The heavily suburban/suburbanizing district covers an area of 1,063.97 km2 (410.80 sq mi) and has a population of 1.71 million. The district capital is Johor Bahru City and the administrative capital is Iskandar Puteri City. The district borders Pontian District on the west, Kota Tinggi District on the east, Kulai District on the north and Straits of Johor to the south. The urban centres are divided into the cities of Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri and Pasir Gudang.
Subang Jaya is a city in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It comprises the southern third district of Petaling. It consists of the neighbourhoods from SS12 to SS19, UEP Subang Jaya (USJ), Putra Heights, Batu Tiga as well as PJS7, PJS9 and PJS11 of Bandar Sunway, the latter of which are partially jurisdictional within Petaling Jaya under the MBPJ. According to Subang Jaya City Council, Subang Jaya has a population of 968,930 in 2020, which makes it the sixth largest city in Malaysia by population.

The Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link Expressway (PDLE) (formerlyKinrara–Damansara Expressway(KIDEX) or KIDEX Skyway) was a new expressway under planning in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The 14.9-kilometre (9.3 mi) expressway connects the Damansara–NKVE Interchange of the New Klang Valley Expressway in the north to Bandar Kinrara in the south. The new expressway was claimed to reduce travelling time between Damansara and Kinrara by about 25%, and reduce traffic volume by 5% in both directions from Puchong to Petaling Jaya. On 16 February 2015, after several protests by the local residents, the KIDEX Skyway project was cancelled by the Selangor State Government. On 2018, the project is revived as Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link Expressway. In 2023, the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) has opened an investigation into improper submission of Social Impact Assessment (SIA). In 2024, Government cancelled due to deadline.

Bhd., the Group was created through the integration of the property arms under the former Golden Hope Plantations Berhad, Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad, and Sime Darby Berhad. The property arm of Sime Darby traces back to United Estates Projects Berhad, a property development company established in 1964. In 1985, Sime Darby purchased a large stake in United Estates Projects Berhad and the company was renamed Sime UEP Properties Berhad. Sime UEP was used to develop former oil palm plantation lands belonging to Sime Darby.
Serenia City is a township in Dengkil township in Sepang District, Selangor, Malaysia. Serenia is located near Salak Tinggi. The area was formerly known as Ampar Tenang Estate and started out as the tea, rubber and current palm oil plantation. In 2016, the estate started to turn into a freehold township that is developed by Sime Darby Properties. The township has an area of 2370 acres and is divided into 5 precincts which are Cipta, Citra, Aman, Bayu and Puncak, targeted to cater to 60,000 residents in 2035.
On 17 August 2023, a Beechcraft 390 Premier I business jet crashed onto an expressway interchange near Elmina in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia, killing 10 people. The aircraft was travelling from Langkawi International Airport to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport when it crashed two minutes prior to landing.
The Malaysia Vision Valley is a growth corridor which encompasses the districts of Seremban and Port Dickson in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The corridor was initially established on 21 May 2015, and it forms the southern extension of the Greater Kuala Lumpur area.
