The Emirates Office Tower, is a 54-floor office building along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Connected with the 56-floor Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel by a retail boulevard, the two towers form what is commonly referred to as the Emirates Towers complex. The tower has a total structural height of 354.6 m (1,163 ft) and roof height of 311 m (1,020 ft), making it the 55th-tallest building in the world. [4] The Emirates Office Tower One is taller than the neighbouring Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, but has two fewer floors. Construction of the building was completed on 3 November 1999.

Design and Style

The Emirates Office Tower is located in the financial centre of Dubai. The Emirates Towers complex designed by NORR represents modern business age architecture. Two equilateral triangles are one of their kind in Dubai. The tower consists of three large core walls. The walls support the load transferred at four levels by large steel trusses, which are connected to the cores with the aid of post tensioning and shear stud connection. A curved wall rising almost the whole height of one face of the triangular building provides a view of the city.

The Emirates Office Tower building is surrounded by clad in silver aluminium panels, silver and copper reflective glass. Flanking each tower at the base is a low curvilinear structure, that houses parking and service elements. Both towers rise from a terraced podium featuring a boutique retail mall, restaurants, and cafes with leasable retail area of 80,730 sq ft (7,500 m2), at the three storey base. Landscaping is an integral feature of the design with undulating land forms, water features, and a variety of plants creating a unique development in downtown Dubai.[ citation needed ] Located along the Sheikh Zayed road the buildings are one of the most distinctive pairs of skyscrapers.

The Index is a 328 m (1,076 ft) tall, 80-storey skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Of the 80 floors, the first four floors are service floors, 5th–29th are to be offices and 31st–77th are residential use, 73rd and 75th floors are duplex penthouses and 77th to 80th floor are triplex penthouses. The tower is oriented exactly along the east–west axis so that the eastern and western concrete cores shelter the floors from the harsh, desert sun and the climatic effects of the area. HHHR Tower, also known as the Blue Tower, is a supertall skyscraper on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The construction of the 72-floor, 317-metre (1,040 ft) building started in 2006 and was completed in 2010. Designed by architect Al Hashemi, the building is primarily residential, with some commercial uses.

The Dubai government's decision to diversify from a trade-based, oil-reliant economy to one that is service and tourism-oriented has made real estate and other developments more valuable, resulting in a property boom from 2004 to 2006. Khalid Al Attar Tower 2, aka Millennium Hotel, is a 66-floor tower on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower has a total structural height of 294 m (853 ft). Construction of the Khalid Al Attar Tower 2 was completed in 2011.

1 Dubai was a complex of three skyscrapers proposed for Jumeirah Garden City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Tower 1 would have been the tallest and Towers 2 and 3 much shorter. Although the planned height was never officially released, various heights over 1,008 m (3,307 ft) were suggested, with the intention to be taller than Burj Khalifa which was under construction at the time. The complex was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, and the developer was Meraas.

Al Rostamani Maze Tower is a skyscraper located along Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Al Rostamani Maze tower has a Maze shape in the front and rear elevations. The building was completed in 2011. Maze Tower is mixed used, which owned by Al Rostamani Group, the Tower has 25 office floors, garden floor, 24 residential floors and roof with swimming pool. Al Rostamani International Exchange Head Office is also located in this tower.

Burj Al Salam is a 197.45 metres tall mixed use skyscraper at Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It has 58 floors. The building was designed by DAR Consult, while its structural design was designed by Ramboll Group. The construction of the tower was started in 2008. It was completed in 2014.

Gevora Hotel is a 1,168 ft (356 m) tall hotel along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city Dubai, UAE. That height has given the skyscraper the title of tallest hotel building according to Guinness World Records. The four-star hotel opened in February 2018 after a construction period of twelve years. It has 528 rooms spread over 75 floors and a number of facilities including restaurants and a pool on top of its parking garage building.
