Del City is a city in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, United States, and a part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The population was 21,332 at the 2010 census.
Quincy David "Quin" Epperly was an American racing car constructor. He was born in Floyd, Virginia, to John Wesley and Iowa Texas Epperly. After completing a correspondence course in "Theory of Aircraft Construction", Epperly moved to Southern California in 1940 to work for Lockheed and Pacific Airmotive. During the war, he joined the Coast Guard Reserve to spend evenings after work on watch at the Wilmington Coast Guard Patrol Base.
Mount Epperly is a 4,359-metre-high (14,301 ft) or perhaps 4,512-metre-high (14,803 ft) mountain in the Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains in Antarctica. It overlooks Cervellati Glacier to the northeast and Ramorino Glacier to the east-northeast. The peak was first climbed by Erhard Loretan, solo over the 2,100-metre-high (6,900 ft) south face, on December 1, 1994. Loretan returned the next year and reclimbed the route for a film. In 1999, the American climbers Conrad Anker and Jim Donini failed in their attempt over the west ridge. The third successful ascent was by the Chilean Camilo Rada and Australian Damien Gildea via a new route over the south face in December 2007. Their GPS measurements on top suggested a height 153 m above the official one.
Double Dare is a 2004 documentary film about stuntwomen, specifically Jeannie Epper and Zoë Bell, directed by Amanda Micheli. The documentary follows Epper and Bell over several years, Epper from 1997 and Bell from the end of Xena: Warrior Princess in 2001, to 2003.
Jeannie Epper is an American stuntwoman and actress. She has performed stunts in over 100 feature films and television series and is perhaps best known as Lynda Carter's body double on the 1970s television series Wonder Woman. She was featured in Amanda Micheli's 2004 documentary Double Dare, along with New Zealand stuntwoman and actress Zoë Bell. Entertainment Weekly noted that many consider her "the greatest stuntwoman who's ever lived."
Albert "Tub" Paul Epperly was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played in nine games for the Chicago Cubs in 1938. While he was with the Cubs, Epperly wore uniform number 56, had eight at-bats, two hits, one double, and two runs. He pitched five games for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1950 wearing number 11 on his jersey. He died at the age of 84, in McFarland, Wisconsin where he lived with his daughter, and is buried in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Iowa.

Epperly currently serves as Professor of Practical Theology and Director of Continuing Education at Lancaster Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister with standing in the United Church of Christ and Christian Church.

"Sir Galahad" is a poem written by Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson, and published in his 1842 collection of poetry. It is one of his many poems that deal with the legend of King Arthur, and describes Galahad experiencing a vision of the Holy Grail. The subject of the poem was later included in "The Holy Grail" section of Tennyson's Idylls of the King, but the latter version depicts Galahad as a pious individual who is grimly determined to fulfill his destiny. Sir Galahad, in contrast, depicts Galahad as prideful, and has almost cheerful undertones.

Gary Alan Epper was an American stunt performer, coordinator and occasional actor. Part of a major stunt family dynasty in Hollywood, he was the son of John Epper, the brother of fellow Star Trek stuntmen Tony Epper and Andy Epper and stuntwoman Jeannie Epper. His family traces its lineage back to "a colonel in Napoleon's army" and his great-grandson, a multi-lingual Swiss who eventually lived in California where he began the family tradition in stunt work and the tradition has passed down from each generation.
John Anthony Epper was an American actor and stuntman. He was a member of the Epper family, whose members work as actors and stunt performers. Members include his sister, stuntwoman Jeannie Epper, and his late brothers, Gary Epper and Andy Epper.
Cambria Historic District is a national historic district located at Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Virginia. The district encompasses 34 contributing buildings in the town of Christiansburg. It includes a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional buildings related to Cambria's historical role as the "port" for the nearby town of Christiansburg. The residences are reflective of a variety of popular architectural styles, in including Colonial Revival and Queen Anne. Notable buildings include the Surface-Lee Block, Dew Drop Inn, Epperly Pontiac dealership, Cambria Hardware Company Building, Palmer Store, Lee House, Cambria Baptist Church (1928), and the New Christiansburg Depot (1906). The Cambria Freight Station is located in the district and listed separately.
Cervellati Glacier is the 5 nmi long glacier situated southeast of Patton Glacier and northwest of Ramorino Glacier on the east slope of Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It flows northeastwards between Tyree Ridge and Epperly Ridge, and enters Crosswell Glacier southeast of Mount Bearskin. The feature was named by US-ACAN in 2006 after Roberto Cervellati, Italian representative to the SCAR Expert Group on Geographic Information, 1992-2006, and director of the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica in the same period.
Ramorino Glacier is the 4.5 nautical miles long glacier situated northwest of upper Crosswell Glacier and southeast of Cervellati Glacier on the east slope of Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It flows northeastwards between Epperly Ridge and Shinn Ridge, and enters Crosswell Glacier northwest of Mount Segers. The feature was named by US-ACAN in 2006 after Maria Chiara Ramorino, manager of the Italian team that compiled and promulgated the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica, 1998-2006.
Agnes Kay Eppers Reynders is a road cyclist from Bolivia. She represented her nation at the 2000 and 2005 UCI Road World Championships. She also competed in the triathlon at the 1999, 2003 and 2007 Pan American Games.
Epperly Ridge is a rock ridge that extends northeast for 4 nautical miles (7.4 km) from Mount Epperly, in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 2006 in association with Mount Epperly.
Elizabeth ‘Betsy' Epperly is a Victorian scholar, author, curator, English professor, and former university president (1995–1998) of the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). Epperly taught at the University of Prince Edward Island for 22 years where she also served as founding chair of the L.M. Montgomery Institute and UPEI's fourth president. The Epperly Plaza on the UPEI campus is dedicated in her name. Following her retirement she was made Professor Emerita by the university.
