A geographic coordinate system is a coordinate system that enables every location on Earth to be specified by a set of numbers, letters or symbols. Fairbanks is an unincorporated community in El Dorado County, California. [1] It is located 8.5 miles (14 km) north-northwest of Pollock Pines, [2] at an elevation of 3711 feet (1131 m). [1]
