Foshan West railway station is a major railway station located in Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong, China. The station started construction on February 26, 2013 and was opened on August 18, 2017. [1] The station serves as a gateway for conventional, regional and high-speed rail services for southwest Guangdong, serviced by the Nanning–Guangzhou and Guiyang–Guangzhou high speed railways.

The initial section between Shunde College Railway Station and Zhen'an opened on 28 December 2022, and the rear section between Zhen'an and Zhongshan Park (south section) and between Lianhe and Foshan University (north section) opened on 23 August 2024. The full line will run from Shunde Port in Shunde District to Foshan University in Nanhai District.
