Gail Lake Township is a township in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 92 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 18.1 square miles (47 km2), of which 16.7 square miles (43 km2) of it is land and 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2) of it (7.74%) is water.
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 92 people, 43 households, and 27 families residing in the township. The population density was 5.5 people per square mile (2.1/km2). There were 89 housing units at an average density of 5.3/sq mi (2.1/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 97.83% White and 2.17% Asian.
There were 43 households, out of which 18.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.8% were married couples living together, and 34.9% were non-families. 34.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.14 and the average family size was 2.68.
In the township the population was spread out, with 15.2% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 33.7% from 45 to 64, and 19.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
