Greek Business Channel or GBC was the first network in Greece devoted exclusively to business and finance. It provided up to the minute details on all the happenings from Greece, Europe and abroad. Programming aimed to deliver news and information that will appeal to all people including homeowners, consumers, businessmen and women, and investors. GBC was the first thematic channel launched in Greece, it is available via satellite on Nova. It was launched in April 2002, [1] and for unknown reasons, GBC ceased operations as of December 1, 2006. [2]

Schedule

It would first operate from 7 am till 5 pm and on weekends from 7am till 3pm. [3] Starting September 7, it would operate from 6 am till 8 pm and on weekends from 6 am till 5 pm. [1]

ITV News Channel

The ITV News Channel was a 24-hour television news channel in the United Kingdom which broadcast from 1 August 2000 to 23 December 2005. It was available on Sky, NTL:Telewest, ITV Digital, Freeview and analogue cable, presenting national and international news plus regular business, sport, entertainment and weather summaries. Priority was usually given to breaking news stories. There was also an added focus on British stories, drawing on the resources of the ITV network's regional newsrooms.

Alfa TV Former pay TV service in Cyprus

Alfa TV was a former pay television service available in Cyprus, that broadcast sports and children's programming as well as the odd film. It was owned by Alfa TV Ltd. and was launched in 1998. Alfa TV was one of only 2 pay-TV services in Cyprus, the other being Lumiere TV with whom Alfa TV had a programming agreement. Some of the programs on Alfa TV were broadcast incorporation with well-known pay-TV channels, and specifically with those of MultiChoice.

Skai TV is a Greek free-to-air television network based in Piraeus. It is part of the Skai Group, one of the largest media groups in the country. It was relaunched in its present form on 1 April 2006 in the Athens metropolitan area, and gradually spread its coverage nationwide. Besides digital terrestrial transmission, it is available on the subscription-based encrypted services of Nova and Cosmote TV.

CITV British free-to-air television channel

CITV is a British free-to-air children's television channel owned by ITV plc. It broadcasts content from the CITV archive and acquisitions, every day from 6 am to 9 pm which was previously 6 am to 6 pm until 21 February 2016. It is also the title of a programming block on the ITV network at weekends.

10 HD is an Australian free-to-air television channel that was originally launched on 16 December 2007 on channel 1. The channel was available to high definition digital television viewers through Network 10 owned-and-operated stations. The multichannel broadcast live sport, entertainment, films, documentaries, science fiction and news. The channel ceased broadcasting on 25 March 2009, and the following day was replaced by One.

Global News Canadian news network, division of Global Television Network

South Greek TV

A.NET is a television station based in Kalamata. It broadcasts digitally in Peloponnese, in southern Central Greece, in Aetolia, in Kythira, in Phocis, in Corinthian gulf, in islands of Argosaronic, in southern Ionian islands, in Boeotia and in western Attica. It airs programming from New Epsilon TV, the successor of Philippe Briones' Epsilon TV, hence its logo. The station previously had its own radio station, Radio South, which is no longer operational. The original station was called State NET, and it started broadcasting in September 1993 in Kalamata. In March 2001, the ownership and management of the station were changed, and started airing original productions, as well as programming from Channel 9. The channel was temporarily closed due to the ESR's decision on December 4, 2012, which stated that 2003-2006 depreciation was not filed and did not submit the appropriate data to transfer of shares.

Alpha Digital is a Greek former digital satellite pay TV platform owned by Alpha Digital Synthesis SA. Commissioned by Alpha TV and executive director Stathis Tsotsoros, the platform was launched on October 29, 2001 and shut down around a year later, September 11, 2002, due to financial difficulties and a low number of 40.000 subscribers. It was also funded by the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation.

Fox Weather American streaming television network

Fox Weather is a streaming channel operated by Fox Corporation which launched on October 25, 2021 to provide weather forecasts and information for the United States. The service is available on YouTube TV, its website and mobile apps, the mobile and digital media player apps of Fox, Fox News and Fox Business, the websites of Fox's owned and operated stations, the OTT service Tubi, and simulcasted every weekend mornings from 6–8 AM ET on Fox Business.
