Hola Airlines (Baleares Link Express SL) was an airline based in Palma de Mallorca, Majorca, Spain. It operated European charter services. Its main base was Son Sant Joan Airport, Palma de Mallorca, with another hub at Madrid Barajas International Airport. [1]

History

The airline was established in 2002 and started operations on 15 May 2002. It was set up by Mario Hidalgo, who previously ran Air Europa Express, and was majority owned by Gadair European Airlines with a 51% shareholding. It had 35 employees in February 2009. [1] It ceased operations on 15 February 2010. [2]

Spantax S.A. was a Spanish leisure airline headquartered in Madrid that operated from 1959 to 1988. Spantax was one of the first Spanish airlines to operate tourist charter flights between European and North American cities and popular Spanish holiday destinations and was considered a major force in developing 20th-century mass tourism in Spain. Its popularity and image faded from the 1970s onward when a series of crashes and incidents revealed safety deficits, which, combined with rising fuel costs and increasing competition, resulted in the company facing severe financial difficulties that led to its demise in 1988.

FlyMe Former Swedish airline

Fly Me Europe AB, operating as FlyMe, was a low-cost airline based in Gothenburg, Sweden. It operated flights from Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö to destinations within Europe. Its main hub was Göteborg Landvetter Airport, with hubs at Malmö Airport and Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. Beginning in April 2006, it widened its destination network and started daily services to European destinations. Majority owner of the business was English Billionaire John Robert Porter and his Norwegian business partner Christen Ager-Hanssen. They also had a majority interest in another airline Global Supply Systems a British all cargo carrier. FlyMe acquired in late 2006 a 25% stake in Global Supply Systems holding company Riverdon ltd with the aim to create a low cost long haul product.

Channel Express

Channel Express Limited was an airline with its head office in Building 470 at Bournemouth International Airport in Christchurch, Dorset, near Bournemouth. It operated scheduled services from Bournemouth to the Channel Islands and nightly cargo services to Europe and throughout the UK on behalf of Royal Mail and other overnight express carriers. Short notice and ad hoc charters were also operated throughout Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as wet-lease operations on behalf of major scheduled airlines. Its main base was Bournemouth International Airport (BOH).

Quantum Air was an airline based in Madrid, Spain. It operated domestic scheduled services within Spain, as well as charter and ACMI operations all over Europe. Its fleet was originally wet-leased to Spanair for use on domestic and international routes, but since 14 September 2008, they have operated on their own.

Navegacion y Servicios Aéreos Canarios, better known by its initialism NAYSA, was a regional airline based in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain. Holidays Czech Airlines was a Czech Airlines brand used for operating holiday flights from Czech Republic to Greece, Turkey and Spain. Charter flights also operated from Dublin, Ireland across Europe. It had a registered Air Operator Certificate under Czech Airlines Plc. The airline ceased operation in July 2014.

Bingo Airways

Bingo Airways was a Polish charter airline based at Warsaw Chopin and Katowice Airports.

SunExpress Deutschland GmbH was a German leisure airline headquartered in Gateway Gardens, Flughafen, Frankfurt. It was a subsidiary of SunExpress, which itself is a joint-venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. Its main base was Frankfurt Airport with smaller bases at several other airports throughout Germany. The company ceased all operations in 2020.
