Hotchkiss is a suburban residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by Marquis of Lorne Trail SE (Highway 22X to the south, Stoney Trail to the west, and 146 Avenue SE to the north.

Hotchkiss is located within Calgary City Council's Ward 12. [1] The name of the community was adopted by Calgary City Council on May 6, 2013. [3] The neighbourhood is named for late Harley Hotchkiss, a businessman, community leader and former owner of the Calgary Flames. [1]

Hotchkiss is being developed in partnership by Hopewell Residential Communities of Calgary and Qualico Communities Calgary. [4]

The community is most known for its private lake and island in the centre of the community. Multimillion-dollar homes can be seen along both the ridge and the lake.

McKenzie Towne is a master planned residential neighbourhood in the southeast of Calgary, Alberta being developed by Carma Developers LP. The community is bordered on the west by Deerfoot Trail, on the south by Stoney Trail, on the east by 52 St. S.E., and to the north by the South Trail regional commercial centre along 130 Ave. S.E.

Copperfield is a neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. The neighbourhood is bounded by 52nd St. to the west, Stoney Trail to the south, and the neighbourhood of New Brighton to the north.

Charleswood is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located east of Crowchild Trail and the University of Calgary. It borders the Nose Hill Park to the north and the Confederation Park to the southeast.

Chaparral is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located at the southern edge of the city, south of the Stoney Trail. To the east it is bordered by the Bow River Valley, to the south by 194 Avenue SE, and to the west by Macleod Trail. It has three sub sections that are not officially recognized, Lake Chaparral, Chaparral Valley, and Chaparral Ridge.

Southview is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by 17 Avenue SE to the north, 36 Street SE to the east, 26 Avenue SE to the south and the Bow River to the west.

Dover is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. Evanston is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. Located near the north edge of the city, it is bounded by the Kincora community across Shaganappi Trail to the southwest, the Sage Hill community to the west, Sarcee Trail to the west, 144 Avenue N.W. to the north, 14 Street N.W. to the east, and the Panorama Hills and Hidden Valley communities across Stoney Trail to the southeast and south. Fairview is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by Glenmore Trail to the east by Blackfoot Trail, to the south by Heritage Drive and to the west by Macleod Trail. Fairmount Drive bisects the neighbourhood from north to south and Chinook Centre is located northwest from the community. Fairview features homes built in the late 1950s and early 1960s on what are now considered large lots. Many are in the 1,000 sq ft range with most being bungalows. New Brighton is a master planned residential neighbourhood developed in the southeast of Calgary, Alberta. Located east of 52nd. Street SE and south of 130th Ave and McIvor Boulevard to the south. The community contains a variety of single family and multi-family homes as well as a private residents association recreation facility called the New Brighton Club. The facility contains a water park, hockey rink, tennis, banquet facilities and studio space with many programmed activities.

Seton is a suburban residential/commercial/institutional community under construction in southeast Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is located directly south of Auburn Bay and east of Cranston. The community is bordered by 52 St SE to the west, along with the community of Auburn Bay, Stoney Trail to the north, the proposed East Freeway to the east, and an eastern extension of Seton Boulevard to the south.

Walden is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located near the southern edge of the city, south of 194 Avenue SE and the neighbourhood of Chaparral. To the east it is bordered by the Bow River Valley, to the south by the neighbourhood of Legacy, and to the west by Macleod Trail.
