Panorama Hills is a suburban residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. Located at the northern edge of the city, north of Country Hills boulevard.
The neighbourhood Coventry Hills is directly east.
The community was established in 1994, built by Ultima Development Corporation on land purchased from members of the Country Hills Golf Course. [3] It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor. [1]
The historical sites Reverend George McDougall Cairn and the John A. Lewis Rock Quarry are located within the neighbourhood, and it borders the Country Hills golf course to the southwest.
In the City of Calgary's 2012 municipal census, Panorama Hills had a population of 22,247 living in 7,398 dwellings, a 12.1% increase from its 2011 population of 19,851. [4] With a land area of 6.3 km2 (2.4 sq mi), it had a population density of 3,531/km2 (9,150/sq mi) in 2012. [4] [5]
Residents in this community had a median household income of $89,044 in 2005, and there were 5.2% low income residents living in the neighbourhood. [6] As of 2006, 41.7% of the residents were immigrants. Most buildings are single-family detached homes, and 2.3% of the housing was used for renting. [2]
Multiple developers have built projects within the community including Jayman Built, Cedarglen Homes, Shane Homes, Homes by Avi and Cardel Homes.
Students in the Catholic district attend St. Jerome Elementary School, St Elizabeth Seton and Notre Dame (10-12) High School. Students in the public district attend Panorama Hills Elementary School (K-5), Buffalo Rubbing Stone Elementary School (K-5), Dr. J. K. Mulloy Elementary School (K-4), Balmoral School (5-9), Captain Nichola Goddard Middle School (6-9), Sir John A Macdonald Junior High School, and John G. Diefenbaker High School (10-12).
Lakeview is a residential community in the southwestern quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Varsity is an established neighbourhood in the Northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It was developed in the 1960s and early 1970s on a plateau to the north of the Bow River valley, and is primarily composed of Single-detached dwellings on wide lots. The neighbourhood comprises three major areas: Varsity Acres, Varsity Village, and Varsity Estates. Varsity is bounded on the north and east by Crowchild Trail, on the west by the Bow River, and on the south by 32nd Avenue NW. It borders the neighbourhoods of Silver Springs and Bowness on the west side, and both Montgomery and the University of Calgary campus on the south side. The easternmost portion of Varsity contains the University of Calgary Research Park.
Arbour Lake is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by Country Hills Boulevard, to the south by Crowchild Trail, to the east by Nose Hill Drive, to the west by Stoney Trail.
Woodlands is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. The community is bordered by Fish Creek Provincial Park to the south, 24 Street SW to the west, Anderson Road SW to the north, and 14 Street SW to the east. The Canyon Meadows Golf course is entirely contained within the boundaries of Woodlands.
Maple Ridge is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. The community is bounded to the east by Deerfoot Trail, north by Southland Drive, west by Willow Park and south by Anderson Road. The Maple Ridge golf course, developed in the Bow River valley, lines the community to the south and east.
Country Hills is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by the Country Hills Boulevard, to the south by Beddington Trail, and to the east by Harvest Hills Boulevard. To the southwest, it is bordered by the Country Hills golf course which began construction in 1989 and opened in 1992. The clubhouse along with the fully developed course opened in 1999. the area is also bordered by the West Nose Creek. The neighborhood is often mistaken with Country Hills Estates which lies to the south between Country Hills Golf Club and Beddington Trail which was developed a decade earlier. The new community of Country Hills Village is located in the northeast of the neighbourhood. Country Hills is a generally calm and quiet area.
Tuxedo Park is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast and northwest quadrants of Calgary, Alberta. The inner city community is bounded to the north by 32 Avenue N, by Edmonton Trail to the east, the Trans-Canada Highway to the south and 2 Street NW to the west. The community is bisected by Centre Street from north to south.
Douglasdale is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by 114 Avenue S to the north, 130 Avenue S to the south, Deerfoot Trail to the east and the Bow River to the west. The Fish Creek Provincial Park borders the neighbourhood to the west. Douglasglen is located in the northern area, north of Deerfoot Trail.

It is bounded by Deerfoot Trail to the east, by Beddington Trail to the south, by Country Hills Boulevard to the north and by Harvest Hills Boulevard to the west. The community contains a lake. The Harvest Hills golf course, shut down in early 2016 with demolition planned for late 2016 and early 2017, is in the process of redevelopment to add additional housing options in the northeast corner of the community.
