Humeme is a language of the "Bird's Tail" of Papua New Guinea. It is spoken mainly in and around the village of Manugoro ( 9°42′38″S147°27′44″E / 9.710548°S 147.462152°E ) in Rigo Central Rural LLG, Central Province. [1] [2]

The Kuot language, or Panaras, is a language isolate, the only non-Austronesian language spoken on the island of New Ireland, Papua New Guinea. Lindström estimates that there are 1,500 fluent speakers of Kuot. Perhaps due to the small speaker base, there are no significant dialects present within Kuot.
