Inferno Metal Festival is an annual extreme metal festival that takes place every year during Easter in Oslo, Norway. The festival was founded by Borknagar guitarist Jens F. Ryland in cooperation with Radar Booking in 2001 and takes place at Rockefeller Music Hall.

2023

The 2023 edition will take place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 6 to 9 April.

2022

The 2022 edition replaced the 2020 edition, cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 14 to 17 April.

The festival tried to keep the same lineup as for the 2020 cancelled edition. The announced lineup was:

2020

The 2020 edition was planned to place at Rockefeller Music Hall in April 2020, but was cancelled and rescheduled to April 2022 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. [1] [2]

The 2019 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 18. to 21. April.

2018

The 2018 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 29. March, to 1. April.

2017

The 2017 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 12. April (club night) Vulcan Arena, to 15. April.

2016

The 2016 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 23. April (club night), to 26. April.

2015

The 2015 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 1. April (club night), to 4. April.

2014

The 2014 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 16. April (club night), to 19. April.

The 2013 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 27. March (club night), to 30. March.

The 2012 edition took place at Rockefeller Music Hall from 4. April (club night), to the 7. April.

He is widely known for producing and collaborating with influential acts in the Norwegian black metal scene, including Mayhem, Burzum, Immortal, Emperor, Satyricon, Enslaved, Gorgoroth, Borknagar and Taake. Hundvin worked out of Grieghallen Lydstudio at the Grieg Hall in Bergen from 1989 to 2013, when it was closed. He has been a member of Tornerose and Blind Date as a bassist. Hundvin is the father of handball player and media personality Mia Hundvin.

Arvas, formerly known as Örth, is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Bergen in 1993 as a one-man project by multi musician V-Rex. In Summer 1996, Borknagar drummer Grim and Gorgoroth bassist Ares joined the band. They recorded an album in late 1996, titled Nocturno Inferno, but it was never released. After Grim committed suicide in 1999, V-Rex decided to keep on going as a one-man project, but changed the band's name. He recorded two demos, Countless Souls at Dawn and I Am Thy Grief, and a split album with Hordagaard titled Dawn of Satan/Uncle Satan, which was released by Azermedoth Records. The band's first official album Blessed from Below – Ad Sathanas Noctum was released in 2010 by the band themselves. Their second album Into The Realm Of The Occult was released in November 2013 by Italian label ATMF Records, to be followed in March 2015 by Black Satanic Mysticism, via Aeternitas Tenebrarum Music Foundation. Arvas has shared stages with bands like Throne of Katarsis, Urgehal, Dauden, 1349, Mongo Ninja, Nocturnal Breed. In March 2013, Arvas toured the east European countries supporting Deicide on their 'End Of The World Tour'. The band's fourth album, Black Path, was released on 24 March 2017 by Mighty Music.

Steelfest Open Air is an annual black metal music festival located in Hyvinkää, Finland, 60 kilometres north of Helsinki. Founded by Jani Laine, the first edition occurred in 2012.
