In January 2024, Rugby League Ireland announced the appointment of Matt Kennerson as the Head Coach. [2]

Liam Richard Finn is a former rugby league footballer. An Ireland international representative scrum-half, stand-off or hooker, he played for Halifax, Widnes Vikings, Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers in the Super League, as well as Dewsbury Rams and Featherstone Rovers in the Championship. He was the head coach of Halifax Panthers in 2024.

The England women's national Rugby League team represents England in Women's Rugby League. They are administered by the Rugby Football League.

The France women's national rugby league team, also known as the Chanticleers or locally as Les Tricolores, represents France in women's rugby league. They are administered by the French Rugby League Federation. With a victory over Serbia on 22 June 2024, France qualified for the 2026 Women's Rugby League World Cup.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup</span>

The 2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup was the 16th Rugby League World Cup, and one of three major tournaments of the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The tournament was held in England from 15 October 2022 to 19 November 2022. It was originally due to be held between 23 October 2021 and 27 November 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent withdrawals of Australia and New Zealand caused the tournament to be postponed. 16 teams competed in the tournament, an increase of two from the previous two tournaments and the first to feature 16 teams since the 2000 Rugby League World Cup.

The 2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup qualification was the qualifying process which will decide the 8 teams that would join the 8 quarter-finalists from the 2017 World Cup including the hosts England, who received an automatic spot, at the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The process commenced in June 2018, with the commencement of the 2018–19 Rugby League European Championship C tournament, which acted as the first round for European qualification.

The 2019 Rugby League European play-off tournament was the final phase of European qualifying to the 2021 Rugby League World Cup, played in October and November 2019. It featured six nations, five of whom have come through the previous phases of European qualifying - 2018 European Championship, 2018 European Championship B and 2018–19 European Championship C. The competition was played in two groups of three with the winners and runners up in each group qualifying for the World Cup.

The United States women's national rugby league team, also known as the Hawks represents the United States in women's rugby league. They are administered by the USA Rugby League.

The 2022 Women's Rugby League European Championship B was an international women's rugby league tournament that took place between June and October 2022. It was divided into two groups, with Ireland, Italy and Wales playing in the north, and Greece, Serbia and Turkey contesting the south.

The Serbia women's national rugby league team is organised by the Serbian Rugby League and represents Serbia in international rugby league.

The England national wheelchair rugby league team represents England in wheelchair rugby league. The team have played in all four World Cup tournaments, winning both the inaugural competition in 2008 and the 2021 edition on home soil, and being runners up in both 2013 and 2017. They also won the 2015 European Rugby League Championship.

The Greece women's national rugby league team represents Greece in women's rugby league football. Founded in 2019 by the Greek Rugby League Association, the team played its first game in September 2019 in a friendly match against Turkey.

The Netherlands women's national rugby league team represents the Netherlands in women's rugby league. The team's first international was a 14–0 victory in a friendly against Greece on 9 December 2023. On this evening the "A" team played a friendly match against Greece "A".
