The Deutsche Bundesbank,literally "German Federal Bank",is the central bank of the Federal Republic of Germany and as such part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). Due to its strength and former size,the Bundesbank is the most influential member of the ESCB. Both the Bundesbank and the European Central Bank (ECB) are located in Frankfurt,Germany. It is sometimes referred to as "Buba" for Bundesbank,while its usual abbreviation is BBk in Germany and internationally DBB.

Centeno is the author or co-author of several scientific publications,books and book chapters related to his areas of interest,such as labour economics,econometrics,microeconomics and contract theory.

Michael Meister is a German mathematician and politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state Hesse since 1994. From 2018 until 2021 he also served as Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in the government of Chancellor Angela Merkel.
