Jurong West Central is a subzone of Jurong West, located in the West Region of Singapore. [1] This is the town centre of Jurong West.
There are 4 main roads in this subzone – Boon Lay Way, Jalan Boon Lay, Jurong West Avenue 4/2 and Pioneer Road North.
The East West Line threads through the subzone along Street 63, with 2 stations (Boon Lay and Pioneer), situated at the Eastern and Western ends of the subzone. By 2025, there will be the Jurong Region Line, which would ply through the Eastern end of the subzone.
The Boon Lay Bus Interchange is situated here, along Central 3, within Jurong Point Shopping Centre and next to Boon Lay MRT Station.
At the junction of Central 1 and Street 64, there is a government healthcare institution named Jurong Medical Centre.
A polyclinic, Pioneer Family Healthcare Centre near Pioneer MRT station along Street 61 started operations in November 2017 and opened in February 2018.
The Frontier Community Club is situated at the junction of Street 64 and Central 3, it is co-located with Jurong West Public Library. There are two parks – Jurong Central Park and Jurong West Neighbourhood Park. They can jog along the Jurong West Park Connector. In addition, there is Jurong West Public Library.
There is also SAFRA Clubhouse at Jurong, which is situated at the south-eastern fringe of the subzone, near to Boon Lay MRT Station. The Jurong West Sports and Recreation Centre is located at the western fringe of the subzone along Pioneer Road North.
There are 2 Shopping malls in this subzone, namely Jurong Point and Pioneer Mall. There are retail spaces at the concourse level of Pioneer and Boon Lay MRT stations, of which the one at Boon Lay is known as Boon Lay Xchange.
There will be a market and hawker centre located adjacent to Pioneer Mall along Street 61 which is expected to complete in 2017.

There are a total of 188 housing blocks in this subzone, consisting of 176 (6 under construction) Public apartments and 12 blocks of Private Condominium. Most of the flats were built in 1999 – 2000, and earthworks had begun on 18 June 1995.

The northern portion is referred to Boon Lay constituency, part of the West Coast GRC. Its MP is Desmond Lee.

Jurong is a major geographical region located at the south-westernmost point of the West Region of Singapore. Although mostly vaguely defined, the region's extent roughly covers the planning areas of Jurong East, Jurong West, Boon Lay, and Pioneer, along with Jurong Island in the Western Islands cluster and the southernmost portions of the Western Water Catchment. Should it be described at its greatest historical extent, the region can also include present-day Bukit Batok and Tuas.

Boon Lay MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West line in Jurong West, Singapore. Located in Jurong West Central, Boon Lay station is one of the three stations that serve Jurong West New Town; the other two are Lakeside MRT station and Pioneer MRT station. Together with Boon Lay Bus Interchange and Jurong Point Shopping Mall, they form the Boon Lay Integrated Public Transport Hub.
Bukit Panjang is a planning area and residential town located in the West Region of Singapore. A portion of this town is situated on a low-lying elongated hill. The planning area is bounded by Bukit Batok to the west, Choa Chu Kang to the northwest, Sungei Kadut to the north, the Central Water Catchment to the east and Bukit Timah to the south. Bukit Panjang New Town is located at the northern portion of the planning area. Bukit Panjang has an average elevation of 36m/118 ft.

Boon Lay is a neighbourhood located in the town of Jurong West in the West Region of Singapore. Its borders very roughly correspond to the URA subzone of Boon Lay Place, situated within the Jurong West Planning Area.

Teban Gardens is a residential precinct located in Jurong East, Singapore. Immediately north of Pandan Reservoir, it comprises exclusively public housing built by the JTC Corporation and Housing and Development Board.

Yuhua is a subzone region located in the town of Jurong East, Singapore. Yuhua comprises two subzones, Yuhua East and Yuhua West. The area's HDB flats are under the management of Jurong-Clementi Town Council and the people of this precinct are represented in parliament by either Grace Fu or Rahayu Mahzam, depending on where they stay.
Hong Kah is a residential precinct in Jurong West, Singapore. It is bounded by the PIE, Corporation Road, Jurong Canal Drive, Jurong East Avenue 1 and Jurong Town Hall Road. It is named after the former 'Hong Kah Village'.
