Kulukkallur is a village and gram panchayat in Pattambi Taluk, Palakkad district in the state of Kerala, India. [1]

Demographics

As of 2011 India census, Kulukkallur had a population of 27,971, of which 13,174 are males and 14,797 are females. In Kulukkallur village population of children under six years of age is 3658 which makes up 13.08% of total population of village. Child Sex Ratio for the Kulukkallur as per census is 997, higher than Kerala average of 964. In 10 years since 2001, Population of the village has increased by 8.3%. In 2001 census total population of Kulukkallur village was about 26 thousand. [2]

Communist Marxist Party (CMP) was a political party in Kerala. The party was founded in 1986 when M. V. Raghavan was expelled from the CPI(M) due to a grave difference of opinion regarding the formation of alliances with the IUML. His support for forming a united front with non-secular parties such as the Muslim League in order to take on alliances led by the INC was ultimately rejected by the CPI(M) leadership. He was subsequently expelled from the Party.

Elections to local bodies in Kerala were held in December 2020. Polling took place over 3 days; on 8, 10 and 14 December, with the votes counted and results announced on 16 December.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kuttippuram Block Panchayat</span>

The Kuttippuram Block Panchayat is the block-level administrative body that administers the region around Kuttippuram in Malappuram district, Kerala, India. It is also one of the 15 Block Panchayats established for the proper block-level administration of Gram panchayats in the district. Established in 1962, the block's current president is Vaseema Veleri since 2020. Kuttippuram Block Panchayat lies in two assembly constituencies – Kottakkal and Tirur – both of which are part of the Ponnani parliamentary constituency. The Block is headed by a President and council, and manages 155.83 km2 of Kuttippuram block, with a population of about 229,468 within that area.
