LA 10 FC is an American soccer team playing in the United Premier Soccer League. The club is partly owned by former Italian international and World Cup winner Alessandro Del Piero, and the club name bears his jersey number. [1] The club shares similar branding to another Del Piero enterprise, the ADP10 Football Academy based in Los Angeles. LA 10 won promotion to the 2019 UPSL SoCal North Division 1 after an unbeaten season in the 2018 UPSL SoCal North "Championship Division" (division 2).
The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is an American professional development soccer league that was founded in Santa Ana in Southern California, with teams in regionalized conferences throughout the United States. The league was founded in 2011 by Santa Ana Winds FC club owner Leonel López as a regional league for teams in Greater Los Angeles, but expanded to include teams from 32 states as of the 2019 UPSL season.

The club takes its name from a Southern California weather condition known as the Santa Ana winds. Santa Ana Winds FC, an elite amateur and professional development club, has played international development squads in the past, namely matches against a Club Atlas U-20 squad in March 2011, and a Chivas de Guadalajara U-20 squad in November 2011. On November 18, 2017, the club made history by qualifying to the 2018 U.S. Open Cup for the first time. On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, Winds FC winger Juan Arellano became the first player to transfer directly from Santa Ana Winds FC to an international professional club.

Soccer has enjoyed longstanding popularity in Los Angeles. As of 2019 there are two professional soccer clubs in Los Angeles County that play in Major League Soccer: LA Galaxy and Los Angeles FC. The Los Angeles area is also home to two Division 2 professional teams in the United Soccer League: Orange County SC and LA Galaxy II, the reserve side of LA Galaxy, and many semi-professional clubs and leagues including the United Premier Soccer League, SoCal Premier League and National Premier Soccer League, among others. In 2019, two more professional teams, Cal FC and California United Strikers FC will join a new, unsanctioned, professional league called the NPSL Founders Cup.
The 2018 Fall United Premier Soccer League season is the 11th season of the UPSL. Milwaukee Bavarian SC are the reigning champions. However, the Midwest Conference will not participate in the fall season, and the Bavarians will not be able to defend their title.
The 2019 Spring United Premier Soccer League season is the 12th season of the UPSL.
