LA 10 FC is an American soccer team playing in the United Premier Soccer League. The club is partly owned by former Italian international and World Cup winner Alessandro Del Piero, and the club name bears his jersey number.

History

LA 10 FC was founded in 2016. [1] The ownership group consists of former Italian national team player Alessandro Del Piero, EDGE Americas Sports (of which Del Piero is a co-founder), and Del Piero's business partner, Jeffrey Whalen. [2] The club name references his iconic number 10 jersey with the team colors of black and white referencing his former club Juventus. [3] In their debut season in 2018, the club had an undefeated season in the 2018 UPSL SoCal North Championship Division, earning promotion to the UPSL SoCal North Division 1 for 2019. [4]

Alessandro Del Piero is an Italian former professional footballer who mainly played as a second striker, although he was capable of playing in several offensive positions. Since 2015, he has worked as a pundit for Sky Sport Italia. A technically gifted and creative supporting forward who was also a free-kick specialist, Del Piero won the Serie A Italian Footballer of the Year award in 1998 and 2008 and received multiple nominations for the Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year.

The 2018 Fall United Premier Soccer League season is the 11th season of the UPSL. Milwaukee Bavarian SC are the reigning champions. However, the Midwest Conference will not participate in the fall season, and the Bavarians will not be able to defend their title.

The 2019 Spring United Premier Soccer League season is the 12th season of the UPSL.
