TV Patrol is a Philippine television news broadcasting show broadcast by ABS-CBN, Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, ABS-CBN News Channel, TeleRadyo Serbisyo, and ALLTV. Originally anchored by Noli de Castro, Mel Tiangco and Robert Arevalo, it premiered on March 2, 1987 on the network's primetime slot replacing Balita Ngayon. The network is headquartered at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City, with additional offices and production facilities in 25 major cities including Baguio, Naga, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, and Bulacan, where ABS-CBN's production and post-production facility in Horizon IT Park is located. ABS-CBN is colloquially referred to as the Kapamilya Network; its brand was originally introduced in 1999 and was officially introduced in 2003 during the celebration of its 50th anniversary, and was used until it was forced by the National Telecommunications Commission to cease and desist from free-to-air broadcasting due to the lack of congressional franchise. ABS-CBN is the largest media company in the Philippines and oldest television broadcaster in Southeast Asia.

ZOE Broadcasting Network, Inc. is a Philippine broadcast media arm of the Jesus Is Lord Church. Based in Ortigas Center, Pasig, it operates a network of television and radio stations in Mega Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Calamba, Laguna, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iloilo and Puerto Princesa. The company also owns its first television station in Metro Manila, DZOE-TV 11 and its DTT companion UHF channel 20, which currently airs the A2Z network, a joint-venture partnership between ZOE and ABS-CBN Corporation through its blocktime agreement.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">TeleRadyo Serbisyo</span> Philippine pay television channel

TeleRadyo Serbisyo is a Philippine pay television channel owned by Media Serbisyo Production Corporation, a joint venture between Prime Media Holdings and ABS-CBN Corporation, with ABS-CBN News as its main content provider, and is available on cable providers throughout the Philippines. TeleRadyo Serbisyo is also simulcasted via The Filipino Channel (TFC) and it can be heard and viewed online via its YouTube channel and iWantTFC. TeleRadyo was also included as a digital subchannel on digital terrestrial television seen via the ABS-CBN TVplus digital TV receivers and other digital TV boxes, until its discontinuation on November 1, 2022. However, on May 27, 2024, the channel resumed its digital free-to-air broadcast via Prime TV's feed. The channel was previously used to simulcast the programs of ABS-CBN's flagship AM radio station, DZMM 630 before the latter went off the air on May 5, 2020 due to a cease and desist order of the National Telecommunications Commission together with ABS-CBN, S+A, and MOR Philippines. The channel went back on-air and online on May 8, 2020 as TeleRadyo, resuming the programming of the former DZMM. On June 28, 2021, TeleRadyo started to broadcast in high-definition feed on YouTube and Facebook while selected shows are being broadcast on Kapamilya Channel and The Filipino Channel in HD. The channel rebranded to TeleRadyo Serbisyo on June 30, 2023 coinciding with the launch of its radio counterpart Radyo 630 under the joint venture of Prime Media and ABS-CBN.

Digital terrestrial television in the Philippines began in 2015 with the implementation of ISDB-T, currently coexisting with analog television that operates on the NTSC standard after the set analog switch-off (ASO) deadline encountered multiple postponements.

Aliw Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is a Philippine broadcasting company. Its corporate office and studios are located at the 5th floor of Citystate Centre, 709 Shaw Blvd., Brgy. Oranbo, Pasig. It is one of the broadcast media assets of the ALC Group of Companies, alongside RPN and Nine Media. Aliw operates a number of radio stations under the Home Radio & DWIZ brands, as well as its only digital television and cable channel, ALIW Channel 23.

DZEA-TV is a television station in North Central Luzon, Philippines, airing programming from the GMA network. Owned and operated by the network's namesake corporate parent, the station maintains studios at the GMA Complex, Claveria Road, Malued District, Dagupan City, Pangasinan, while its hybrid analog and digital transmitter facilities shared with GTV outlet DWDG-TV channel 22 are located atop Mount Santo Tomas, and the Digital SFN relay transmitting towers is located at Luz Street, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

DWHB-DTV is a television station in Baguio City, Philippines, owned and operated by Broadcast Enterprises and Affiliated Media Inc. The station maintains a transmitter facility atop Mt. Sto. Tomas, Tuba, Benguet.

ABS-CBN TV Plus is a Philippine ISDB-T encrypted digital terrestrial television provider owned and operated by ABS-CBN Convergence, a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation. The service distributes digital set-top boxes with freemium and free-to-view digital TV channels, Broadcast Markup Language, Emergency Warning Broadcast system, and pay per view services to selected areas in the Philippines. In order to avail the service, users must buy an ABS-CBN TVplus set-top box and activate it through ABS-CBNmobile SIM card; activation requirements for the digital channels through other mobile networks later became available around the second quarter of 2018.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shutdown of ABS-CBN broadcasting</span> Controversy regarding the renewal of the franchise of ABS-CBN in 2020

The shutdown of ABS-CBN broadcasting arose from the lack of renewal of Philippine media network ABS-CBN's congressional franchise. The dispute between the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte and the media conglomerate arose over the terms and conditions of the franchise renewal agreement. Amid the controversy, the Congress of the Philippines, the country's legislature, was unable to renew the franchise before its expiration date. The congressional franchise expired on May 4, 2020, while the Philippines was dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon. The next day, exercising constitutional powers, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) issued a cease-and-desist order demanding ABS-CBN cease all of its free TV and radio broadcasting operations immediately. ABS-CBN complied with the government order and shut down all of its radio stations and free television channels later that day. On June 30, 2020, the NTC released two alias cease-and-desist orders against ABS-CBN TV Plus and Sky Direct.

A2Z is a Philippine free-to-air blocktime broadcast television network based in Quezon City, with its studios located in Ortigas Center, Pasig. It serves as a flagship property of ZOE Broadcasting Network in partnership with ABS-CBN Corporation as its main content provider through a blocktime agreement. A2Z's flagship television station is DZOE-TV which operates on channel 11, and channel 20. The network's name is an abbreviation derived from the first letter of the names of two parent companies, ABS-CBN and ZOE, and the channel number of the now-recalled frequency of the former network.

Philippine Collective Media Corporation is a Philippine broadcast media company. Its headquarters are located in Makati, with offices in Fairview, Quezon City and in Tacloban. It owns a number of radio stations under the FM Radio Philippines network, and operates Radyo 630 in Metro Manila. It also operates television channels TeleRadyo Serbisyo, Prime TV, and regional PRTV in Tacloban.

All TV is a Philippine free-to-air broadcast television network serving as the flagship property of Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) in partnership with ABS-CBN Corporation as its main content provider through a blocktime agreement. Its broadcast facilities and studios located at Starmall EDSA-Shaw at EDSA corner Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong and Starmall Las Piñas IT Hub along Alabang–Zapote Road corner CV Starr Avenue, Las Piñas; its transmitter is located at the Millennium Transmitter site, Sgt. Esguerra Ave, Diliman, Quezon City.
