Black Sheep Productions (or simply Black Sheep) is a Philippine film production studio owned by Star Cinema, a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation. [1] Founded in 2018, the studio produces films that are situated in between independent films and mainstream films released by the major Philippine film studios. [2]

Black Sheep is best known for producing the films Exes Baggage (2018), Alone/Together (2019), Fan Girl (2020), and Whether the Weather is Fine (2021).

History

Black Sheep was founded on June 15, 2018, with Exes Baggage as its first film. [3] The brand positions itself in between ABS-CBN Films' two other major brands, Star Cinema, which is more family-oriented, and Cinema One Originals, which is considered more arthouse. [4]

Exes Baggage is a 2018 Filipino romantic drama film directed by Dan Villegas, starring Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino. The film was produced by Black Sheep Productions as their theatrical debut and is distributed by ABS-CBN Films.

Mariam Sayed Sameer Marbella Al-Alawi, known professionally as Ivana Alawi, is a Filipino actress, model, and YouTuber. She is also the CEO of her own skincare brand called Ivana Skin.

The ABS-CBN Soundstage at the Horizon IT Park, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, is the main production facility of ABS-CBN. It is owned by ABS-CBN Corporation, operated and managed by ABS-CBN Studios, Inc.

Jeremiah Jordan Romano Lisbo, is a Filipino actor, singer and model. He is most known for appearing in a number of Star Cinema's produced films, including Four Sisters Before the Wedding (2020), Love or Money (2021), He's Into Her (2021), and Love at First Stream (2021).

Dwein Ruedas Baltazar is a Filipino filmmaker. She is best known for directing the films Gusto Kita With All My Hypothalamus (2018) and Oda Sa Wala (2018). She has also directed a number of iWantTFC series, such as Past, Present, Perfect? (2019) and I Am U (2020).
