The following is a list of association football clubs and their affiliates, past and present. Teams may have a feeder club for a number of reasons, including the ability to loan out inexperienced youngsters, to allow young, foreign players to gain a work permit, or for business purposes, such as merchandising. In English football the operation of an external feeder team is prohibited, and so the agreements are more informal, and usually between local teams.
Football Club Copenhagen, commonly known as F.C. København, F.C. Copenhagen, Copenhagen or simply FCK, is a professional Danish football club in Copenhagen, Denmark. FCK was founded in 1992 as a superstructure on top of Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and Boldklubben 1903, with Kjøbenhavns Boldklub from 1876 being the oldest club in Continental Europe.
Brøndbyernes Idrætsforening (Danish pronunciation:[ˈpʁɶnˌpyˀɐnəsˈitʁætsfɒˌe̝ˀne̝ŋ], usually abbreviated to Brøndby IF, is a Danish football club based in the Copenhagen suburb of Brøndbyvester. Brøndby IF denotes the professional football section of Brøndbyernes Idrætsforening, which was founded on 3 December 1964 by a merger of the football clubs Brøndbyøster Idrætsforening and Brøndbyvester Idrætsforening. The club's first team, which plays in the Danish Superliga, plays its home games at Brøndby Stadium, where its team plays in blue shorts and socks and yellow shirts.
Football Club Midtjylland is a Danish professional football club based in Herning and Ikast in Jutland. The club is the result of a merger between Ikast FS and Herning Fremad. Midtjylland competes in the Danish Superliga, which they have won four times, most recently in 2024.
Winston Wiremu Reid is a New Zealand former footballer. He is most known for his time as a defender with Premier League club West Ham United and captaining the New Zealand national team. He has also played for Midtjylland with loan periods at Sporting Kansas City and Brentford.

The 2009–10 Danish Superliga season was the 20th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determinates the winners of the Danish football championship. It is governed by the Danish Football Association. The tournament started on 18 July 2009 and concluded on 16 May 2010.

The 2016–17 season was Brøndby's 36th consecutive season in the top flight of Danish football, 27th consecutive season in the Danish Superliga, and 51st year in existence as a football club. In addition to the Danish Superliga, the club also competed in the Danish Cup and the UEFA Europa League. The season was the club's first with manager Alexander Zorniger.
The 2019–20 season was F.C. Copenhagen's 28th season of existence, competing each year in the 3F Superliga, the top tier of football in Denmark. In addition to the 3F Superliga, Copenhagen advanced to the quarterfinals of the Sydbank Pokalen, the UEFA Europa League and advanced to the Third Qualifying Round of the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League. The season was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and matches were stopped after matches on March 8 and resumed on May 28.
