The Lux Style Awards is an award ceremony which is held annually in Pakistan since 2002. The ceremony celebrates "style" in the Pakistani entertainment industry, such as cinema, television, fashion, music, sports and film industry. Categories have changed over the years, but most are awarded by panels of judges who are experts in the respective industries, with some "people's choice" awards in the film and TV categories.
Saba Qamar Zaman, known professionally as Saba Qamar, is a Pakistani actress who works predominantly in Urdu films and television. She has won several accolades including Hum Awards and two Lux Style Awards. Qamar is one of Pakistan's most popular and highest-paid actresses. Government of Pakistan honoured her with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012 and Pride of Performance in 2016.
Takkay ki Ayegi Baraat is a Pakistani comedy-drama that aired on Geo TV from June 2011 to October 2011. The third instalment of its kind, it is a continuation of the hit Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat in the Evernew's popular storyline of Kis Ki Ayegi Baraat. The show includes most of the characters from Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat, and focuses on the story of Mustaq a.k.a. Takkay and Sila's friend Sukena. Takkay ki Ayegi Baraat is written by Vasay Chaudry who had co written the previous serial as well. The character of Sila, previously played by Sarwat Gilani and Ayesha Omar in the first and second serials respectively, is played by Alishba Yousuf. This is the third time the character of Sila has been played by a different actress. And the character of Azar is now played by Ahsan Khan.
Saboor Ali is a Pakistani actress. The younger sister of actress Sajal Aly, she began her acting career with a family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain (2011). She garnered recognition with a comic role in sitcom Mr. Shamim (2015). She continued playing supporting roles in several television series and made her film debut with a romantic-comedy Actor in Law (2016), for which she earned a Lux Style Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination. She has since played leading roles in dramas, such as Mere Khudaya (2018), Gul-o-Gulzar (2019) Fitrat (2020)for which she received a nomination for the Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress and Mushkil (2022)and received critical acclaim as well as the Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as a tomboy in Parizaad (2021).
Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain is a Pakistani anthology television series produced by Angeline Malik which premiered on 27 March 2011 on Hum TV. The series is based on short stories in real-life situations. A second season premiered on 30 October 2016, on the same network but with a different cast.

One of the Pakistan's highest-paid actress, Aly has received several accolades including five Hum Awards and a Lux Style Award out of thirteen nominations. On 23 March 2024, she was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s fourth-highest civil award.
The 2nd Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis and Telenor Talkshawlk, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2013. The ceremony took place on 29 March 2014 at Expo Center in Karachi, Sindh beginning at 7:30 PST. The ceremony was recorded and was broadcast on 25 May 2014. During the ceremony, Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel presented awards in 29 regular categories along with 2 in honorary and 1 in special category. The ceremony was televised in Pakistan by Hum TV, while Servis returned as a main sponsor of the show.
Ullu Baraaye Farokht Nahi is a Pakistani drama television serial based on the afsana of the same name by Amna Mufti which was first published in 2009 in a monthly Urdu journal Shuaa. Directed by Kashif Nisar, the serial stars Noman Ijaz, Sohail Ahmed, Saba Qamar, Uzma Hassan, Irsa Ghazal, Yumna Zaidi and Noman Masood in prominent roles. Deals with the subject of feudalism and Watta satta, the series serves as a dark indictment on a society where men can abuse their power with impunity.
Pyarey Afzal or Pyaare Afzal is a 2013 Pakistani romantic drama serial that aired on ARY Digital. Directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, the drama was produced by Humayun Saeed and Shazad Nasib's Six Sigma Entertainment. The drama starred Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ayeza Khan in lead roles.

Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat is a Pakistani drama serial and second installment of the Baraat Series, aired on Geo Entertainment in 2010. The series stars Bushra Ansari, Saba Hameed, Javed Sheikh, Samina Ahmed, Natasha Ali and Nabeel Butt, respired their roles from the previous season while Ali Safina and Ayesha Omer joined for this season. Directed by Nadeem Baig and Marina Khan, the script was co-written by Bushra Ansari and Vasay Chaudhry. The story revolves around the marriage and wedding plans of Azar's cousin Dolly and also focuses on the themes of cultural clash and our attitude towards the class system of society.
Bilal Abbas Khan is a Pakistani actor known for his portrayal of boy next door in the media, he features among the list of the nation's popular personalities. Khan is the recipient of three Lux Style Awards. After making his acting debut with a supporting role in the religious drama Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi (2016), he rose to prominence with the romantic drama O Rangreza (2017) the thriller Balaa (2018) and the revenge Cheekh (2019). For the later two, he received a nomination for the Lux Style Award for Best TV Actor.

Mein Bushra is a Pakistani television series first broadcast on ARY Digital. It was written by Sanam Mehdi and directed by Bilal Qureshi and Ahmed Bhatti. It stars Mawra Hocane in the title role as one of the seven daughters of her father, who wants to prove to him that daughters are just as capable as sons. It also features Faysal Quraishi, Affan Waheed, Saba Hameed and Waseem Abbas in prominent roles. It aired from 11 September 2014 to 12 February 2015.
