Matobo, formerly known as Matopos, is a district of the Matabeleland South province in southwestern Zimbabwe. [1] [2]
Mashonaland East, informally Mash East, is a province of Zimbabwe. It has an area of 32,230 km2 and a population of approximately 1.73 million (2022). Marondera is the capital of the province.
Mashonaland West is a province of Zimbabwe. It has an area of 57,441 km² and a population of approximately 1.9 million (2022). Chinhoyi is the capital of the province.
Matabeleland South is a province in southwestern Zimbabwe. With a population of 683,893 as of the 2012 Zimbabwean census, it is the country's least populous province. After Matabeleland North, it is Zimbabwe's second-least densely populated province. Matabeleland South and Matabeleland North were established in 1974, when the original Matabeleland Province was bifurcated. The province is divided into six districts. Gwanda is the capital, and Beitbridge is the province's largest town. The name "Matabeleland" is derived from Ndebele, the province's largest ethnic group.
Air Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is the national carrier of Zimbabwe, headquartered on the property of Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, in Harare. From its hub at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, the carrier used to operate a network within southern Africa that also included Asia and London-Gatwick. Following financial difficulties, Air Zimbabwe ceased operations in late February 2012. Serving a reduced domestic network, the carrier resumed operations for a short period between May and early July 2012, when flights were again discontinued. Some flights were restarted on a discontinuous basis in November that year. The airline resumed operating some domestic routes as well as the regional service to Johannesburg on a daily basis in April 2013.
Cape Darnley is the ice-covered cape forming the northern extremity of Bjerkø Peninsula at the west side of MacKenzie Bay. On December 26, 1929, Sir Douglas Mawson, from the masthead of the RRS Discovery while at 66°57′S71°57′E, saw land miraged up on the southwest horizon. On February 10, 1931, he returned in the Discovery and was able to approach close enough to see the headland, naming it for E.R. Darnley, Chairman of the Discovery Committee of the Colonial Office, London, 1923 to 1933.

Lonely Mine is a village in Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe and is located about 84 kilometres (52 mi) north-east of Bulawayo, just north of Inyati. It was established in 1906 when gold was discovered in the area. Gold, nickel and tungsten are still mined in the area today.
Bubi is a district in Matabeleland North in Zimbabwe. It is rich in minerals, but lacks infrastructure. Its 2012 census population was 61,883; and had grown to 74,084 by 2022.
Neshuro is an administrative center for Mwenezi District in Masvingo Province, south-eastern Zimbabwe. It also acts as one of the largest business centers in the drought-prone district. Some of the wards are Ngwizi, Mphoengs, Sanzukwi, Sangulube, Maninji, Madabe, Mbakwe, Empandeni, Mayobodo, Mambale, Makorokoro, Tshitshi, and Marula. Some villages found in this district are Bulu, Kweneng, Togotsweu. Mangwe used to be a part of bigger district which was known as Bulilimamangwe. Bulilimamangwe was then divided into 3 districts now known as Mangwe, Bulilima and Plumtree.
Umzingwane is a village and seat of the Umzingwane District, in Matabeleland South province, in Zimbabwe.
