The Obsolete Tour was a concert tour by American industrial metal band Fear Factory, in support of their 3rd album, Obsolete . The tour began June 20, 1998 in Milton Keynes, England and ended November 26, 1999 in Madrid, Spain, with a break between May and July 1999, during which the band played at the Ozzfest. The tour was actually supposed to begin in May 1998, but the first few dates were cancelled for unknown reasons.

For the first shows, they opened for Rob Zombie. They were supported by Monster Magnet, Spineshank, Kilgore, Static-X, Dope, Cubanate & Will Haven, among others.

Monster Magnet is an American rock band. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded in 1989 by Dave Wyndorf, John McBain (guitar) and Tim Cronin ; they have since gone through several lineup changes, leaving Wyndorf as the only constant member. Powertrip is the fourth studio album by Monster Magnet, released on June 16, 1998. The album was the band's commercial breakthrough, achieving mainstream success due largely to the hit single, "Space Lord". Obsolete is the third studio album by American industrial metal band Fear Factory, released on July 28, 1998. Conceptually, it is a sequel to 1995's Demanufacture. With the success of its fourth single, "Cars," a Gary Numan cover that featured Numan himself on vocals, Obsolete would break Fear Factory into the mainstream and remain their highest selling album.

Spineshank was an American nu metal band. The band has sold over 540,000 records. Spineshank has released four studio albums: Strictly Diesel (1998), The Height of Callousness (2000), Self-Destructive Pattern (2003), and Anger Denial Acceptance (2012).

Marty OBrien

Marty O'Brien is an American bass guitarist originally from Pawtucket, Rhode Island and currently based in Los Angeles. O'Brien plays professionally for live touring musical acts, recording sessions, television, and film scores all of which encompass a range of genres such as pop and rock, thereby collaborating with various musical artists. O'Brien's discography is generally diverse yet also maintains a notable background and standing in the hard rock and metal music genres. Live credits include tours with bands such as Disturbed, Tommy Lee, Static-X, Methods of Mayhem, Lita Ford, and many others. He has performed on three different Ozzfest tours, each time with a different band. Also a busy session-bassist, most of this work taking place in his current home base of Los Angeles, O'Brien has recorded with numerous artists such as Celine Dion, Chris Cornell, Brian McKnight, Tommy Lee, Jason C. Miller, Lindsay Lohan, Gus G., Lita Ford and Kelly Clarkson; the later includes the number one single, "Because of You" from the Grammy award-winning album titled Breakaway.

The Sufferer & The Witness Tour was a concert tour by punk band Rise Against, taking place from 2006 until 2007, in support of their second major label album The Sufferer & The Witness.

East Meets West Tour

The East Meets West Tour '09 was a concert tour by hard rock band Extreme, taking place in the summer of 2009, in support of their 2008 album Saudades de Rock. It followed the Take Us Alive World Tour in 2008 which was in support of the same album. The tour started with a performance at the M3 Rock Festival on May 30, with the official tour beginning on July 12. Kilgore (band)

Kilgore is an American heavy metal band formed in Providence, Rhode Island, United States, in 1991. The band is named after the character Kilgore Trout in the Kurt Vonnegut classic Breakfast of Champions. Through a number of band name and line-up changes, Kilgore released two albums, Blue Collar Solitude (1995) and A Search for Reason (1998). The band landed a slot on the 1998 Ozzfest. They followed with a 1998 national tour with Slayer and Fear Factory and a 1998 European tour with Fear Factory and Spineshank.

The No Exit Tour was a 1998–1999 world tour by American new wave band Blondie to promote their revival and reformation as a band and their latest album No Exit, which was released during the tour. The tour marked the band's first live performances in sixteen years, save for small festival appearances in 1997.
