The World Industrialist Tour, also named The Epic Industrialist Tour on some occasions, was a concert tour headlined by American industrial metal band Fear Factory in support of their 8th studio album, The Industrialist , released in June 2012.

Contents

The tour started off on August 10, 2012 at Fort Wayne, IN and ended at Re:Public in Minsk, on September 3, 2013. The band also took the time of 5 shows in Australia to perform the entire Demanufacture album live.

Supporting acts included Dagoba, Devin Townsend Project (who often inverted schedule time with Fear Factory), Twelve Foot Ninja & Kobra and The Lotus among others.

Fear Factory is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989. Throughout the band's career, they have released nine full-length albums and have evolved through a succession of sounds, all in their main style of groove metal and industrial metal, with their earlier albums having a more nu metal sound, and their first album being death metal. Demanufacture is the second studio album by American industrial metal band Fear Factory, released on June 13, 1995 by Roadrunner Records. Burton C. Bell wrote the majority of the lyrics and Dino Cazares wrote all the music. This is the band's first album with their classic line-up; adding new bassist Christian Olde Wolbers. Although credited, his actual input is disputed between current and former band members. Many regard it as the band's best album and a heavy metal classic. The album was certified Gold in Australia by ARIA and Silver in the UK by the BPI.

Obsolete is the third studio album by American industrial metal band Fear Factory, released on July 28, 1998. Conceptually, it is a sequel to 1995's Demanufacture. With the success of its fourth single, "Cars," a Gary Numan cover that featured Numan himself on vocals, Obsolete would break Fear Factory into the mainstream and remain their highest selling album.

The discography of Fear Factory, an American heavy metal band, consists of nine studio albums, three compilation albums, one remix album, one demo album, one video album, five extended plays, twenty-one singles and thirteen music videos. Fear Factory formed in 1989, signing to Roadrunner Records three years later. The band's debut studio album, Soul of a New Machine, was released in 1992. The following year, Fear Is the Mindkiller was released as an EP, featuring remixes by Rhys Fulber and Bill Leeb of Front Line Assembly. Mechanize is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Fear Factory. It is the only album to feature Gene Hoglan on drums and the first since 2001's Digimortal to include original guitarist and founding member Dino Cazares, who rejoined the band after a reconciliation with lead vocalist Burton C. Bell, in April 2009. The album was produced by Rhys Fulber, who had not produced or been involved with a Fear Factory album since Archetype. The album has received mostly positive reviews from fans and music critics, being praised for its very aggressive and heavy sound. In its first week of release, the album sold 10,000 copies.

Thrown into Exile is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, United States. They got their first break in 2012 when they were able to win the “Road to Mayhem” competition to secure a slot performing on the same bill as bands Slipknot, Motörhead, Anthrax, and Slayer. The band has so far released one EP and toured on the Mayhem Festival 2013 in support of it. The band has opened for a number of notable bands including Sepultura, Fear Factory, Chimaira, All Shall Perish, Testament, Morbid Angel, and more.

The tour has been described by her as "So, for a short ride and in mostly intimate venues, I will be performing a new creepy creation. It's been too long", and "Songs you’ve never heard me play before and I may never play again". The tour traveled throughout North America, and was extended to Asia, playing three shows in China in October.
