Owensville Historic District is a national historic district at Owensville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is located around a small crossroads community located at the intersection of Owensville Road and Owensville-Sudley Road. It consists of a concentration of historic buildings leading up to and clustered around the intersecting roads. It consists of 27 buildings, including two church complexes, 16 dwellings with their associated domestic outbuildings, and several agricultural buildings, including tobacco barns. Included in the district is the separately listed Christ Church. Much of the historic building stock dates between 1825 and 1875.

Owensville is a former settlement in Inyo County, California. It was located west of the future site of the modern-day town of Laws. Owensville was started as a mining camp in 1863. By 1871 it had been abandoned. The former settlement site is on U.S. Route 6 north of Bishop, California.

Maryland Route 255 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. The highway runs 4.21 miles (6.78 km) from MD 2 near Owensville east to Riverside Drive in Galesville. MD 255, which was built in the 1920s, originally included the portion of MD 468 between Galesville and Shady Side; the section in Galesville was MD 393. MD 255 and MD 468 were assigned to their present courses in the late 1940s.
