P'isaqiri (Aymara p'isaqa Nothoprocta (a kind of bird), [2] -(i)ri a suffix, also spelled Pisakheri) is a 4,648-metre-high (15,249 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Mejillones Province, La Rivera Municipality, south-west of Carangas. [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

<i>Nothoprocta</i> genus of birds

Nothoprocta is a genus of birds belonging to the tinamou family Tinamidae. They inhabit scrubland, grassland and open woodland in western South America, particularly in the Andes. They are poor fliers and spend most of their time on the ground. Their diet includes seeds and insects. They nest on the ground, laying large glossy eggs. The eggs are covered with feathers when a potential predator is nearby.

In linguistics, a suffix is an affix which is placed after the stem of a word. Common examples are case endings, which indicate the grammatical case of nouns or adjectives, and verb endings, which form the conjugation of verbs.

Pumuta lies south-west of the mountain Jach'a Kunturiri and north-east to east of the mountains Kunturiri and Jisk'a Kunturiri.

Phaqu Qawa (Sajama)

Phaq'u Q'awa is a mountain in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,380 metres (17,651 ft) high. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, in the west of the Curahuara de Carangas Municipality, northwest of the extinct Sajama volcano. It lies south of Qullqi Warani.

Wila Qullu (Curahuara de Carangas) mountain in Bolivia

Chilli Qhata lies south-west of the mountain Q'aysiri and east of Janq'u Jaqhi.
