A food street is a street lined with many food stalls, restaurants, and other food shops, and are typically pedestrianized. [2] Food streets and food parks exist in several cities in Pakistan, and visiting them has become popular, with people using them as both formal and informal meeting areas. [3] [4]

The first food street in Pakistan was Gawalmandi Food Street located in central part of Lahore. [2] This has been followed by Melody Food Street and the food street in Blue Area in Islamabad, [4] [5] Burns Road in Karachi, [6] [7] the food street near Ghantar Ghar in Peshawar, Qissa Kahwani Bazaar Food Street, Peshawar [8] and a second food street in Lahore at Anarkali. [9] In 2012, a new food street was inaugurated in Lahore near Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort. It was named Fort Road Food Street.

In Islamabad, prior to the creation of Melody Food Street, restaurants were scattered around the city. Members of middle class society prefer them because they are less expensive than hotels or high-quality restaurants. [4] [10]

As the winners, the Stallions qualified for the 2008 Champions League Twenty20, which was later cancelled.

The 2009 RBS Twenty-20 Cup was the fifth season of the RBS Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by RBS. It was held in Lahore from 25 to 29 May 2009. The Sialkot Stallions won their fourth overall and consecutive title by defeating the Lahore Lions in the final.

The team was captained by Azhar Ali, and they stand on fifth position after winning just two matches from their eight matches in the PSL 2016, as a result they were eliminated in group stage. Umar Akmal with 335 runs in 7 matches was leading run scorer of the tournament.

The Karachi Kings is a franchise cricket team that represents Karachi in the Pakistan Super League. They are one of the five teams that had a competition in the 2016 Pakistan Super League. The team was captained by Shoaib Malik and then by Ravi Bopara, and they stand on fourth position after winning just two matches from their eight matches in the PSL 2016.

The Peshawar Zalmi is a franchise cricket team that represents Peshawar in the Pakistan Super League. They are one of the five teams that had a competition in the 2016 Pakistan Super League. The team was captained by Shahid Afridi, and they stand on first position after winning six matches from their eight matches in the PSL 2016.

The 2018–19 National T20 Cup was a Twenty20 domestic cricket competition that was played in Pakistan. It was the fifteenth season of the National T20 Cup in Pakistan, and was held from 10 to 25 December 2018 in Multan. Eight teams took part, with the top four progressing to the semi-finals. Lahore Blues were the defending champions.

The 2017–18 Regional One Day Cup was a List A cricket tournament that took place in Pakistan. The competition ran from 24 January to 11 February 2018. Peshawar were the defending champions.

The second phase including the playoffs took place in Lahore, with the Final played on 27 February where Lahore Qalandars beat Multan Sultans by 42 runs to win their maiden PSL title.
