Aqupukru mountain in Peru

Aqup'ukru is a 4,997-metre-high (16,394 ft) mountain in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Puno Region, Lampa Province, Paratía District. Aqup'ukru is situated south of the mountain Yanawara, west of the lake Sayt'uqucha and southeast of the mountain Pachakutiq.

Awallani mountain in Peru

Awallani is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It is located in the Puno Region, Lampa Province, on the border of the districts Paratía and Santa Lucía. Awallani lies between the mountains Phisqa Tira in the northeast and Pukasalla in the southwest.

Chunkara (Puno)

Chunkara is a mountain in the Sillapaka mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,000 m (16,404 ft) high. It is located in the Puno Region, Lampa Province, Paratia District, northeast of Sillapaka.

The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (91.83%) learnt to speak in childhood, 7.59% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census). [3]
