The Perth Track Classic is an annual outdoor track and field meeting held in February or March at the Western Australian Athletics Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. It is part of the national Australian Athletics Tour. [1]

Collis Birmingham is an Australian middle- and long distance runner. He is a two-time participant at the Summer Olympics and four-times at the World Championships in Athletics. He has competed at five editions of the IAAF World Cross Country Championships. He was an Australian and Oceanian 10,000 metres record holder from 2009 to 2011.

Tomas Walsh is a New Zealand athlete who competes mainly in the shot put. He is the current national record holder both outdoors and indoors for the event. His personal best of 22.90 m, set in Doha, 5 October 2019, is also the Oceanian record and makes him the sixth best shot putter in history.

Brooke Buschkuehl is an Olympic long jumper from Australia. She is the current Australian & Oceanic Record Holder. She qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Stratton jumped a distance of 6.6m in her Women's long jump heat and therefore qualified for the final. In the final she improved the distance to 6.8m but this was not sufficient to gain a medal. She came seventh, 0.17m less than the eventual winner, Malaika Mihambo of Germany.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Eliza McCartney</span> New Zealand pole vaulter

Eliza McCartney is a New Zealand track and field athlete who competes in the pole vault and won the bronze medal in this event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She is the current New Zealand and Oceania record holder at 4.94 m, and is the outdoor world junior record holder at 4.64 m. She also won the silver medal at the Summer Universiade in 2015. In 2018, she placed second at the Commonwealth Games.
