University City High School (UCHS) is a public high school in University City, Missouri, that is part of The School District of University City, AKA University City School District. As part of the University City Education District, the high school building was listed, along with nearby Jackson Park Elementary School and Hanley Junior High School, in the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
The Ballenger Building, also known as G.F. Troxell Furniture Store, Taylor Music and Furniture Co., and Safeway, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was originally built about 1892, and expanded rearward about 1904. It was extensively remodeled in 1928. It is a two-story brick building on a stone foundation. It features terra cotta ornamentation and Chicago school style windows. Today it holds Kaldi's Coffee House.
The Central Dairy Building, also known as Downtown Appliance and Gunther's Games, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built in 1927, and enlarged to its present size in 1940. It is a two-story brick building with terra cotta ornamentation elaborate classical and baroque design motifs. Also on the property is a contributing brick warehouse, constructed about 1940. Today the building houses an appliance store and restaurants on the first floor and lofts on the second.
The Harry S. Truman Historic District is a National Historic Landmark District encompassing sites closely associated with US President Harry S. Truman in Independence, Missouri. It includes the Truman Home at 219 North Delaware, Truman's home for much of his adult life and now a centerpiece of the Harry S. Truman National Historic Site, and the Truman Presidential Library. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1974. When first listed, the district included only the two buildings and a corridor joining them. It was substantially enlarged in 2011 to include more sites and the environment in which Truman operated while living in Independence.
Downtown Columbia is the central business, government, and social core of Columbia, Missouri and the Columbia Metropolitan Area. Three colleges — the University of Missouri, Stephens College, and Columbia College — all border the area. Downtown Columbia is an area of approximately one square mile surrounded by the University of Missouri on the south, Stephens College to the east, and Columbia College on the north. The area serves as Columbia's financial and business district and is the topic of a large initiative to draw tourism, which includes plans to capitalize on the area's historic architecture and Bohemian characteristics. The downtown skyline is relatively low and is dominated by the 10-story Tiger Hotel, built in 1928, and the 15-story Paquin Tower.

The First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site is a state-owned property in St. Charles, Missouri, preserving the building that served as Missouri's capitol from 1821 to 1826. The site is part of the St. Charles Historic District in the city's Riverfront neighborhood. It was acquired by the state in 1960 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.
Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is a historic district maintained by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources encompassing several state-owned properties in Jefferson City, Missouri, United States. The historic site includes the Christopher Maus House, the Union Hotel, and the Lohman's Landing Building, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.
The East Columbia Historic District is a national historic district located at Farmington, St. Francois County, Missouri. The district encompasses 11 contributing buildings in the central business district of Farmington. It developed between about 1879 and 1954, and includes representative examples of Late Victorian, Beaux Arts, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable buildings include the Tetley Jewelry Store, Andy Hahn Building, Lang and Holler Building, U.S. Post Office, and Henry C. Meyer Building, and T.F. Lockridge Harness Co. Building / Wichman Nash Service.
The Kress Building, also known as Kress Wholesale Company Store and Mehornay Furniture Store, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built in 1910 for the S. H. Kress & Co., and remodeled in about 1946. It is a tall two-story, brick building with an open storefront topped by horizontal metal banding, that consists of large plate glass windows. The building has seen a variety of uses and is currently host two night clubs: Roxy's on the second story, and The Piano Bar on the Ground.
The McCain Furniture Store Building is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built about 1930 for the S. H. Kress & Co., and remodeled in 1951. It is a two-story, brick building with a simple stepped parapet. Though it has hosted a variety of businesses since the closing of the original store, today it holds Plasma Biological Services.

Springfield Public Square Historic District is a national historic district located at Springfield, Missouri, United States. The district encompasses 27 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, 1 contributing structure, and 2 contributing objects in Springfield's central business district. The district developed between about 1890 and 1959, and includes representative examples of commercial architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Franklin Springfield Motor Co. Building, Gillioz Theatre, Heer's Department Store, Netter-Ullman Building, and Marx-Hurlburt Building. Other notable resources include the Landers Building (1915), F. W. Woolworth Co. (1954), J. J. Newberry Co. (1951), S. S. Kresge Co. (1953), Springfield Cigar Company, Stancill Drug Store, National Shirt Co, Salvation Army, Public Square, Queen City Bank (1914), Frisco Office Building (1910), and Cantrell Building.
Heer's Department Store, also known as the Greater Heer Store, is a historic Heer's department store building located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1915, and is a seven-story commercial building which is sheathed with cream colored terra cotta. A two-story addition was constructed in 1951. The building was remodeled in 1967. The store closed in 1995.
The Grocers Wholesale Company Building, also known as the Sears and Roebuck Farm Store, is a historic building located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. Completed in 1916, this was the first of four warehouses built and owned by Iowa's only and most successful statewide cooperative grocery warehouse. It is possible that it was the first statewide organization of this kind in the country. The cooperative allowed independent grocers to compete against chain stores and survive wholesale grocers' surcharges. They leased their first warehouse after they organized in 1912. Each successive time the cooperative built a new warehouse it was larger and technologically more advanced than the previous one. This particular cooperative grew to include parts of four states: Iowa, southern Minnesota, northern Missouri and eastern Nebraska. They built their second warehouse in 1930 and moved out of this facility. They continued to own this building until 1968, and they leased it out to other firms. The Sears Farm Equipment Store began to occupy the building in 1937 and continued here until 1959. The cooperative became the Associated Grocers of Iowa in the late 1950s, and it continued in existence until 1985. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
