Pukara (Aymara and Quechua for fortress, [2] [3] Hispanicized spelling Pucara) is a 4,468-metre-high (14,659 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Mejillones Province, Carangas Municipality, east of Carangas. [4]
Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.
The Andes or Andean Mountains are the longest continental mountain range in the world, forming a continuous highland along the western edge of South America. This range is about 7,000 km (4,300 mi) long, about 200 to 700 km wide, and of an average height of about 4,000 m (13,000 ft). Wila Qullu is a mountain in the Oruro Department in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,140 metres (16,864 ft) high. Wila Qullu is situated in the Sajama Province, in the west of the Curahuara de Carangas Municipality, west of the extinct Sajama volcano and north-east of the Paya Chata mountains. It lies south-west of the mountain Phaq'u Q'awa.

It lies east of a village of that name. The Ch'apiri River originates at the mountain.. It flows to Curahuara de Carangas in the north.
