Pulo Gadung is a district (kecamatan) of East Jakarta, Indonesia.
Its limits are: the Bekasi Timur Raya – I Gusti Ngurah Rai road to the south, the Bekasi Raya road to the east, Perintis Kemerdekaan road to the north, and Jenderal Ahmad Yani road to the west.
The district sits on a northern edge of East Jakarta and it borders Central Jakarta along just over 25% of its boundaries.

Bekasi is a landlocked city in West Java, Indonesia, located on the eastern border of Jakarta. It serves as a commuter city within the Jakarta metropolitan area. According to the 2020 Census by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Bekasi had 3,083,676 inhabitants. It lies within the largest metropolitan area in Indonesia (Jabodetabek). The city is bordered by Bekasi Regency to the north and the east, Bogor Regency and Depok to the south, and East Jakarta to the west.
East Jakarta is the largest of the five administrative cities which form the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia. It had a population of 2,693,896 at the 2010 Census and 3,037,139 at the 2020 Census, making it also the most populous of the five administrative cities within Jakarta. East Jakarta is not self-governed and does not have a city council, hence it is not classified as a proper municipality.
North Jakarta is one of the five administrative cities which form Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia. Cakung is a district (kecamatan) of East Jakarta, Indonesia. The district is roughly bounded by Bekasi Raya Road to the west, the Bekasi Raya Road - Petukangan canal to the north, a portion of Cakung river to the east, and the Jakarta-Bandung-Surabaya railway to the south. A large area in Cakung is allotted to industrial or agricultural use. The Pulogadung industrial complex is located in the district. The district is served by Jakarta's outer ringroad.

The MetroMini minibus system is major part of the public transport system of Jakarta. There were reportedly over 3,000 buses in the MetroMini fleet in mid-2012. The buses are similar to the parallel Kopaja system which also provides transport services, on different routes, across Jakarta. The distinctive MetroMini buses are orange and blue with a white stripe running along the length of the bus. Buses provide seating for around 20-30 people with, often, an equal number crammed into limited standing room so the buses are often overcrowded. But at 2015 Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama stopped all of MetroMini's bus operations because of a MetroMini vs KRL Commuter Line crash. If MetroMini wants to operate again, it has to join Transjakarta like the Kopaja as a feeder bus. Many routes are/will replaced/replaced by Minitrans and Metrotrans buses.
Sudirman Station is a train station of KRL Commuterline, which is located in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. The station is named from Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, one of the main avenue in Jakarta, which crosses above the station. This station is located on the north bank of West Flood Canal. Though this station serves only Commuterline trains, but it is a transit point for other types of public transportation as part of Dukuh Atas TOD.
Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani or Jalan Jend. A. Yani is one of the main roads of Jakarta, Indonesia. The road is named after an Indonesian National Hero General Ahmad Yani. The road was built as a bypass to connect Tanjung Priok harbour with Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in 1960s. This road extends along 5.7 km from Cempaka Mas, Central Jakarta to Pisangan Baru, Matraman, East Jakarta. This road is traversed by Jakarta Inner Ring Road and TransJakarta corridor 10. Cakung River is a river in the Bekasi, West Java and eastern part of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia. The lower portions of the original river have been channelized and directed into the eastern flood canal, "Banjir Kanal Timur", which continues to flow to the Java Sea in the district of Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta. The river regularly causes flooding in the city of Bekasi and Jakarta.
