The discography of Rema, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, consists of two studio albums, four EP, thirty singles (including one as a featured artist), and 14 music videos. Rema started his music career at age 18. He signed with D'Prince's Jonzing World, an imprint of Don Jazzy's Mavin Records in 2019. His self-titled debut extended play was released in August of that year and peaked atop the Apple Music Nigeria charts. [1] [2]

Contents

The EP spawned the single "Dumebi", which was accompanied by a music video that featured a cameo appearance from Diana Eneje and has garnered over 70 million views on YouTube as of 2021. [3] Two further EPs—Freestyle and Bad Commando—preceded the release of his debut studio album, Rave & Roses in 2022. [4] The album debuted ten songs on the US Billboard Afrobeats Chart upon release. [5] Its lead single, Calm Down soon gained viral recognition; a remix with American singer Selena Gomez was released August 26, 2022. [6] The remix peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 [7] [8] and remained on the chart for 57 weeks, topped many international charts, and set or broke various records for Afrobeats music. [9] By November 2022, Rema was recognized for his songs achieving one billion streams worldwide. [10] He then released his fourth EP, Ravage (2023). [11]

"Calm Down" is a song by Nigerian singer Rema, from his debut studio album Rave & Roses (2022). It was released on 11 February 2022 through Jonzing World and Mavin as the album's second single. The song charted across Europe, reaching number one on the Belgian Ultratop 50, Dutch Top 40 and Dutch Single Top 100. In the United Kingdom, "Calm Down" peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart and spent 27 non-consecutive weeks in the top ten of the chart.

"Dumebi" is a song by Nigerian rapper and singer Rema, released on March 24, 2019, as the third single from his debut extended play, Rema. Upon its release, the song gained millions of streams and views, contributing to Rema's rise to fame. Produced by Ozedikus, the song's success led to the release of a remix featuring American singer Becky G on February 13, 2020, followed by four additional remixes on March 22, 2020, bringing the total to five.
