RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars is a television series, which premiered on August 16, 2024 and ended on October 25, 2024. [1]
On July 15, 2024, the cast was announced, consisting of 12 contestants from various Drag Race spin-offs from around the world that would compete for a cash prize of $200,000, a golden beaver, and a spot in the "International Pavilion" at the "Drag Race Hall of Fame". [2]

Twelve queens from across the Drag Race franchise enter the competition walking the runway in the category International Runway Extravaganza. RuPaul informs them that, due to the split premiere, only six queens will take part in the first maxi challenge, while the others will compete in the next episode. For the first main challenge, the queens must perform in the "Global Glamazon Talent Extravaganza" talent show in front of the judges.

The remaining queens are tasked to makeover one of their fellows' eliminated contestants. This week, the eliminated queens participated in a Lip Sync LaLaPaRuZa smackdown to RuPaul's songs, with the winner of the smackdown earning the title of "Global Lip Sync Assassin" and the cash prize of $50,000. For most of the time, a queen is randomly called to lip-sync, with the chosen queen have the ability to choose their opponent, with the other queen having the ability to choose the song. For the first round, Vanity Vain was the first queen to lip-sync. Vanity chose Eva Le Queen as their opponent. Eva chose "Just What They Want" as the lip-sync song. Eva Le Queen won the lip sync and moved on to the next round. The second pair was between Soa de Muse and Tessa Testicle, with Soa chose Tessa as their opponent. Tessa chose "A.S.M.R Lover" as the lip-sync song. Soa de Muse won the lip sync. The third pair was between Athena Likis and Pythia, with Athena picked Pythia to face off. Pythia chose "Jealous Of My Boogie" as the lip-sync song. Athena Likis won the lip-sync and moved on to the next round. The last pair was between Gala Varo and Miranda Lebrão. Gala was selected to choose the song, with them chose "Cha Cha Bitch" as the lip-sync song. Gala Varo won the lip-sync and secured the last spot for the second round of the Lalaparuza. For the first pair of the second round, Gala Varo was chosen to lip-sync. Gala then chose Eva Le Queen as the opponent. Eva then chose "Call Me Mother" as the lip-sync song. Gala Varo won the lip-sync and moves on to the final round. The last remaining pair in round 2, Soa de Muse and Athena Likis were paired to lip-sync against other. They lip-synced to "U Wear It Well". Soa de Muse won the lip-sync and moved on to the final round. In the final round, Gala Varo and Soa de Muse lip-synched to "The Beginning". Soa de Muse won the lip-sync and was announced as the winner of the lip-sync Lalaparuza, earning the title of "Global Lip Sync Assassin".

For the final maxi-challenge, the queen wrote their own verse and participated in the music video for the song "Dance Like The World Is Watching". On the runway, category is: "Best Drag On Earth". The remaining and eliminated queens walked the runway one last time. Soa de Muse was crowned "Miss Global Peacemaker" (rebranded version of "Miss Congeniality"). The top four then lip-synched for the crown individually to "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. Alyssa Edwards was then announced as the winner of the season, leaving Nehellenia, Kitty Scott-Claus and Kween Kong as the runners-up.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars is an American reality competition spin off edition of the original RuPaul's Drag Race, which is produced by World of Wonder, for Logo TV and later VH1. The show premiered on October 22, 2012, on Logo TV, before relocating to VH1. However, it was announced on February 20, 2020, on the show's official Twitter account that the fifth season would premiere on June 5, 2020, on Showtime. Following the cast announcement on May 8, 2020, producers announced that the show would remain airing on VH1 instead of Showtime due to the COVID-19 pandemic which caused "various scheduling and programming adjustments". On February 24, 2021, Paramount+ announced via Twitter that the streaming service would be the new home to the series for the sixth season.
The third season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars premiered on January 25, 2018. The season was announced in August 2017, with 9/10 of the cast revealed during a VH1 "Exclusive Queen Ruveal" special, airing on October 20, 2017. This season of All Stars featured ten "all-star" contestants, selected from the show's first season through to its then-current ninth season, competing again to be inducted into the "Drag Race Hall of Fame".

The fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars was announced by VH1 on August 22, 2018. Prior to the official announcement, RuPaul confirmed, in an episode of his podcast What's the Tee?, that filming for the fourth season of All Stars currently was underway. All Stars Season 3 winner Trixie Mattel, with special guests Katya and Detox, hosted a special called Trixie's Playhouse to announce the cast for the fourth season. It was scheduled to air on November 8, 2018, but was postponed to the following day due to the Thousand Oaks shooting. The season began airing on December 14, 2018, and ran for ten episodes.
The fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars was announced by VH1 on August 19, 2019.
The thirteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race premiered on January 1 and concluded on April 23, 2021. The cast was announced via Twitter on December 9, 2020. The competition is broadcast on VH1 in the United States and showcases 13 new queens competing for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar". VH1 renewed both RuPaul's Drag Race and its spin-off RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars for a thirteenth and sixth season respectively on August 20, 2020. Casting calls for season 13 were opened in December 2019. In addition to airing on VH1, the premiere episode was simulcast across 5 other channels: Logo, MTV, MTV2, Pop, and The CW, becoming the most-watched episode in the franchise's history.
The sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars premiered on June 24 and concluded on September 2, 2021. The first two episodes of the season aired on the same day. On August 20, 2020, VH1 renewed both RuPaul's Drag Race and All Stars for its thirteenth and sixth season respectively. On February 24, 2021, ViacomCBS announced the sixth season of the show would move from VH1 to Paramount+, an online streaming service. However, the season is still broadcast by the same networks abroad.

The first season of Drag Race Italia premiered on November 18, 2021. The cast was announced on October 28, 2021. The winner of the first season of Drag Race Italia was Elecktra Bionic, becoming the first ever winner in the Drag Race franchise without any maxi-challenge wins, and the first contestant to never lip sync or win a maxi-challenge in the same season, with Farida Kant and Le Riche as runners-up.

The fifteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race premiered January 6, 2023. The reality competition series moved to MTV for broadcast, instead of VH1 in the United States.
