Sachin Sarjerao Khilari [1] [2] is an Indian paralympic shot putter. [3] who represent India at 2024 Summer Paralympics.
Khilari was born to farmer's family on 23 October 1989, he lost his mother at young age and become clipped at 9 following bicycle accident. [4]
Khilari competed at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships, winning a gold medal in the men's shot put F46 event. [5] He set a record in shot put with a best throw of 16.21m. [6] [7] [8] He also competed at the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships, winning a gold medal in the same event. [9] in September 2024, he won silver medal at 2024 Summer Paralympics [10]
Devendra Jhajharia is an Indian Paralympic javelin thrower competing in F46 events. He is the first Indian Paralympics player to win two gold medals at the Paralympics. He won his first gold in the javelin throw at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, becoming the second gold medalist at the Paralympics for his country. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, he won a second gold medal in the same event, bettering his previous record. Devendra is currently being supported by the Olympic Gold Quest. Herath Mudiyansalage Dinesh Priyantha, also simply known as Dinesh Priyantha, is a Sri Lankan Paralympic track and field athlete who competes in javelin T46 events.
