Ajeet Singh Yadav [1] (born 5 September 1993) is an Indian Para athlete from Uttar Pradesh who competes in men's javelin throw, in F-46 category. On 3 September 2024, he won a silver medal in javelin throw F46 category at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris. [2] [3]
Ajeet Singh was born in 1993 in Etawah Uttar Pradesh. He is studying in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. In 2017, he was involved in a tragic train accident while saving his friend. As a result, he is missing his left arm below the elbow. [4] [5] During recovery and rehab phase, almost after 4 months of accident, he took part in Para Athletic Senior National 2018 in Panchkula, Haryana.
He was included in Sports Authority of India Government of India program under Target Olympic Podium Scheme, and is also supported by the Olympic Gold Quest. He had completed his PhD in physical education and sports from Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education,LNIPE, Gwalior.
After taking the sport of para javelin, he made his international debut in 2019. He took part in 7th World Para Athletics Grand Prix held in Beijing, China and won gold medal in the javelin throw. [6] He represented India in the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai [7] where he claimed a bronze medal [8] [9] and as a result he qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics. He also claimed gold medal in the 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix. [10]
He made his Paralympic debut representing India at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. [11] He qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris, [12] his second Olympics.
Devendra Jhajharia is an Indian Paralympic javelin thrower competing in F46 events. He is the first Indian Paralympics player to win two gold medals at the Paralympics. He won his first gold in the javelin throw at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, becoming the second gold medalist at the Paralympics for his country. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, he won a second gold medal in the same event, bettering his previous record. Devendra is currently being supported by the Olympic Gold Quest. He becomes India's most decorated Paralympic player by winning his third medal, a silver at the 2020 Summer Paralympics at Tokyo. In 2024, he was elected president of the Paralympic Committee of India.

Deepa Malik is an Indian para athlete from Haryana. She is the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Games. She won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in shot put.

Sundar Singh Gurjar an Indian Paralympic athlete from Rajasthan. He competes in javelin throw, shot put and discus throw in F46 category events. He won bronze medal at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in men's javelin F46 event. He qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris.
Satendra Singh Lohiya is an Indian swimmer with 70% disability. On 24 June 2018 he crossed the English Channel as part of a swimming relay team which, for the first time saw four para swimmers from India cross the English Channel. He completed the channel in 12 hours and 26 minutes, setting a new record. He has been selected for the Tenzing Norgay Adventure Award 2019 for first Indian para swimmer which was given by the Honorable President of India Ram Nath Kovind and The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi also recognized and appreciated Satendra Singh Lohiya's hard work and blessed him for his future endeavor on 13 March 2020. He received Vikram Award, the highest state-level sports awards in Madhya Pradesh, for swimming from the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, MP on 23 December 2014. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri for 2024 for his contribution in the field of Sports.
Deepender Singh (born 15 June 1994 Bhatpura, Sambhal, India) is a champion Indian para pistol sport shooter. His family is subsistence farmers living between he Yamuna and Gangatic plains of western Uttar Pradesh. He has won many gold and silver medals and set a new para world record at the Para World Cup in Bangkok.
